    And probably not caught more than anyone else to date too and allowed more they did catch stay than anyone else. Shouldn't the goal be to keep illegals out in the first place so we don't have to catch and deport them? Wouldn't that be the better plan as Trump was doing.

    No, but I don't have to run a business too know we can get people in here legally, with a work permit to do any job that needs filling Americans don't want to do. Most nations do. We should know who we are bringing in and how long they stay.

    Someone has helpfully pointed out the definition of invasion to you and it does not necessarily have to be armed, but you already know that because someone has so helpfully posted the definition for you.

    Well I think if what you say is true they would be politically very anxious for the annual ICE report to come out before January like it has for years. Instead, they conceal it. Think that in itself says you are telling a liberal fib here.

    Can you think of any reason why the CBD would lie about it? I mean, if they are going to lie, why wouldn't they say there is nothing going on at the border?

    Partisans applaud those that strengthen their positions and lambaste those that weaken it. Partisans are tribal but will not turn away allies on the other side of the aisle. Moderates tend to be celebrated by the opposition when they cross the aisle and demonized as traitors by their own side for doing it. The more partisan a group is the less tolerant of dissent from within they become.

    The pursuit of pure democracy voting is what the Democrat fuss is all about. The President would be selected by popular vote, ignoring the fact that there are 50 States full of people and not all of them want to live in New York or Los Angeles. The real fly in the Democrat ointment is voter ID. If everyone had to actually be a citizen it would destroy all the hard work being done to swell the ranks of the DNC with the flood from the South.
