Oh jeepers, it was covered already in this thread. Cis- is a latin term. There's even a definition for it. They are not meaningless words.

And no, Latin didn't originate in Latin America as the other poser who claimed cis is made up by millenials.

But at an Ivy League swim meet Saturday, a Yalie, Iszac Henig, defeated Thomas in both the women’s 100- and 400-yard freestyle races, the Daily Mail reported.

Henig, who is transitioning from female to male, set a record for the women’s 50-yard freestyle, the outlet said.

Henig was able to compete on the women’s team because she had yet to start testosterone treatment, according to a June piece in The New York Times.

Of course, that isn't 100% true. A female just recently beat a transfemale.

Sucked so bad, just a few weeks earlier, the transfemale won big and there was a huge uproar.

    ...
Her participation became central in the debate over trans inclusion in sports after she set records in at least three events at the Zippy Invitational in Ohio last month. Her times in the 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle were the best in the nation this season, according to Penn Athletics. In the 1,650-yard freestyle in particular, she was 38 seconds ahead of teammate Anna Kalandadze, who finished second. Right-wing media outlets have shared video of Thomas winning the race on social media.

and then went on and got her but kicked by a female future trans to male.

Your anadotal attempt to say men and women have no distinct physical differences and that women athlete scholarship and career opportunities are not set back by allowing men to compete against women is noted.

    I attempted no distinct anything.
I merely pointed out there's no clean cut over between all male and all female. Whatever that even means.

A physical female, to use your term, beat a former male that transitioned to female. Blowing the theory that all men are more physical than all women. Which is what all of you say everytime you try to claim men are more physical than women. On average it's true. But that doesn't mean 100%.

Men are NOT allowed to compete against women. The deflection is noted.

It doesn't take a scientist to tell us that. We need to get past this and allow women to have their own sporting competition.

I predict that if sports goes down this path, within 30 years, there will be no people who were born female, and stayed that way, in the records books of many sports. So get ready to watch those records fall like dominoes.

So no more ciswomen in sports? Why? Trans women lose sports all the time.

Because my common sense says that I would be an utter fool to allow my 16 year old daughter to fight someone who was a man a year ago in boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, etc..

well easy. You don’t allow her. She chooses herself if she wants to fight. You have no say in what she does when she plays a sport. That’s between her and her coach.

I'd prefer her skull not be crushed, but thanks for the parental advice.

You’re welcome. And if you’re worried about her skull being crushed in, don’t let her play a sport where brain injuries are more severe and likely. As a person who has an injury from the sport she did in high school? That’s the issue to look out for.

No, it's a common sense policy to not only prevent my daughter from fighting a man, but to oppose anyone who thinks putting her in that position is fair, or even safe.

But she wouldn’t be? Because she’s not fighting men, she’s fighting her peers, in a competitive sport, who lets trans people fight according to their gender identity.

unless you’re denying trans women are women, which by that point I point out it’s just transphobia. Which is by definition irrational fear of trans people. Meaning your beliefs on this topic are irrational.

I believe in science, and it proves that men are physically stronger. It's a fact that the average man can physically dominate the average woman in almost all sports, including fighting. This includes those who identify as female, but used to be male. And it's a fact that if one compares 1000 boxing matches involving 2 females with 1000 boxing matches involving a female and someone who identifies as female, but was born a male, you will find that the women in the latter group will suffer more injuries.

Like i said, talk to you in a couple decades when the only people in the record books are trans and men.

Do you know what spironolactone is? Or for that matter what HRT does to a body? This isn’t a gotcha question it’s a” do you understand the basics of trans healthcare” question. And already I think I already debunked the “guys are stronger than woman” argument when citing the IOC rules.

Eventually a transgender cheater will kill a woman in the ring and liberals will blame the woman.

I'm aware that they "think" they have healthcare that levels the playing field. I don't believe them. The experts in healthcare have totally lost my confidence as their advice, AFTER 2 YEARS of a historic pandemic, IS STILL stay home until you think you are dying. No meds. No treatment. No course of action whatsoever. Yeah, I don't have much faith in your medical experts to even be conscious of a principle like fairness, much less judge whether their trans treatments/procedures meet it.

I have no ill will toward trans. I'm interested in safety and fairness. If I'm wrong, and over time women AREN'T pushed out of the record books, I'll change my opinion, just as I've changed my opinion on many issues (gay marriage, Ukraine joining NATO, surveillance state, etc)

And you have not debunked guys are stronger. Don't those rape statistics since time began kind of poke holes in your theory?

But the people who would prove you wrong are also the people you say you don't trust. If that's true, then what would it take to convince you?

I told you, record books will convince me one way or the other. The rate at which women who were born women are knocked out of them will convince me.

No I believe that the natural born women's records will start falling like dominoes. Oh, and more women will receive skull fractures in fights, as it has happened already.

So then there is no proof. There is nothing that can convince you.
