    Well it’s clear that a lot of women find it offensive and I do understand that if you are having a conversation about sexual assault or misogyny how a defensive statement like not all men could derail the conversation but women could also find it supportive and reassuring. I mean isn’t it great that not all men will victimize you?

    Generally speaking we shouldn’t make blanket statements about other groups of people.

    Yup. It is blatant misandry to suggest that ALL men are at fault.

    What we today call wokeness is nothing new and is systematic to us all. It is just easier to see it in those that we disagree with. The reasons why it can be difficult to see it in ourselves is complex but boils down to bias and ego. If only we could be critical of self to the degree we are of groups we are opposed to, we would see that we tend to be guilty of that which we accuse others of.
