Economic growth in the United States slowed sharply in the first weeks of the year due to supply chain disruptions, high prices, and labor shortages linked to the surge in Covid-19 infections, according to data from a purchasing managers survey released Monday.

The U.S. IHS Markit flash composite purchasing managers index, one of the first comprehensive looks at economic growth this year, fell to 50.8 in January from 57.0 in December, severely undershooting expectations and signaling almost no growth in the economy. Economists had forecast a reading of 56.7.

Some of the earliest indicators of economic growth in 2022 show almost no growth, and a far lower than expected score.

Causative factors include Covid, inflation, and supply chain issues all of which Biden has failed to adequately address.

None of these factors are likely to improve before the November mid terms.

Couple of points, first off, "Brietfart," for real?

Secondly, the economy could be better but it is hardly the doomsday analysis "Brietfart" portrays (https://www.thebalance.com/how-is-the-economy-doing-3306046), and much better than where it was a year ago

And lastly, "Omicron, Supply Chain Delays, and Inflation" aren't variables that a President can control, so, what's your point?

When you start by smearing the messenger it suggests you don't have a legitimate argument.

Biden said he was going to solve covid, inflation, and the supply chain crisis.

In fact all are getting worse and Biden will face the blame.

Tell that to the voters who were promised things would get better with Biden in the WH. Inflation hits the poor the hardest and many of the nations poor vote Democrat.

It's not what the voters expected when they heard Biden promise things would get better.

Biden is already a lame duck considering how he can't get his BBB agenda passed. He lied to the progressive wing of the party. They won't be very forgiving.
