US says it will send troops to eastern Europe if Russia invades Ukraine

And people wonder why Russia is pissed. Hmmm, would the US just stand by if Russia had thousands of troops and arms in Mexico? Canada? Cuba...oh already did that. How about if the Russian Coast Guard was routinely patrolling the Gulf of Mexico like the US Coast Guard patrols the Black Sea?

This entire damn conflict started with Obama and will end with Biden. Russia is going to settle this Obama-Biden BS.

LOL. Yeah, that's smart. We don't send troops to Ukraine but we "threaten" to send troops to Ukraine's neighbors. And we are going to sanction Putin's maid so heavily Putin will take his troops right back out of Ukraine because he needs his house cleaned.

 

Watching Biden "Green Light" Putin to take Ukraine is terrible. From his press conference where he basically said he expects it, to this statement.

I just realized we could be seeing a trend here:
2008 - Russia invades Georgia during Olympic Games.
In 2014 Russian troops crossed into Ukraine during Olympic Games.
I think Russia will start the war in Ukraine in 2 weeks and the war will last about 1 month.

 

Don't we just welcome the invaders with free food, shelter, jobs, and amnesty? Send when did we actually use troops to stop an invasion of the U.S.?

It is however good reason to heavily arm Ukrainians so that they can fight for themselves.

 

Those neighbors are part of NATO. If Russia invades them, we will go to war with Russia.

Building up our forces there so that we can deter a Russian invasion (and repel the invasion if it does happen) is actually a very good thing.

Plus we are sending lots of weapons to Ukraine so they can fight for themselves.

 

Too bad for Russia. If they didn't want to be surrounded with weapons, they shouldn't have been invading their neighbors.

The only thing that Putin is going to do about heavy weapons in Poland and Romania is whine really loudly.

And wait until we start installing long range offensive missiles in Poland and Romania. That'll really give Putin something to whine loudly about.

 

Great so let the EU do that. Russia is more their problem than ours. Oh wait maybe Germany doesn't want to piss off Russia and lose their gas?! The US should not take the lead on this or provide extra troops and let NATO do what it was setup to do.

 

I don’t think the US should send troops to confront Russians, but Ukraine is not a nobody to the US, there is a Budapest Memorandum out there. If no one is interested in keeping that document alive then maybe we should replace 3,000 nuclear warheads Ukraine peacefully gave up in exchange for those signatures?

The US and Budapest Memorandum? Obama wiped his ass with the Budapest Memorandum when he orchestrated the 2014 coup. If that's not a violation of the Budapest Memorandum then nothing is. If you wanted to bring up that excuse, then Russia has the right to kick those installed by the US out of Kiev and return control to Yanukovych.

 

They haven't invaded anybody....yet. NATO was not supposed to move 1 inch to the east of Germany in exchange for the Soviet's withdrawal. The USSR did withdraw, but the US stayed. The USSR is extinct, and so should be NATO. This farce called 'NATO' is what will thrust the US into WW3.

If y'all want to beat your chest and rah rah, Russia bad and all that, then how about NATO bringing in Taiwan? Are you ready to go up against China? The real threat? Or are you just stuck in the Cold War, listening to the dumbasses spew propaganda on the fake news MSM?
