    No one is saying NO HEALTHCARE FOR YOU. They are saying there are requirements to remain on a transplant list . . . and this has always been the case. COVID can easily lead (and had led) to circulatory issues, including clots. Requiring a heart transplant candidate to get the vaccine is no different from telling a kidney transplant candidate that they need to control their diet and refrain from drinking.

    Interesting. If we move him down on the list for this reason, why not move Democrats down on the list? Republicans are healthier and happier and the organ will do more good on average.

    They want someone with a bad heart to get a shot that can cause heart inflammation? Seems like they would request that he refrain from getting the shot, isolate and wear an N95 mask when in public.

    People don't develop Covid; they catch covid. People do not catch cancer; they develop cancer.

    Covid can be avoided by avoiding infection. The shot can cause issues with the heart, which is a recipe for disaster. Better to avoid both risks than take one risk over the other.

    So, he would rather die, leave his wife without a husband and his children and newborn without a father, than have a vaccine. I'm sure they'll be greatly comforted to know that his principles meant so much to him.

    I get that I really do but the vaccine isn't keeping people from getting todays Covid and we're all being told all it does is keep us potentially from being really sick. Now we find out that not only does the vaccine not keep you from getting Omicron, but the therapeutics we've already purchased and developed by the same companies don't work against Omicron. Do not to fear though a new 4th vaccine to attack Omicron is on the way and more cash for them.

    We are talking about a heart transplant - they do not have them exactly stacked on a shelf somewhere. The organ becomes available and that can be at any time and the patient is contacted to get to hospital. This could be in an hours time or it could be in a month or it could be never

    what is concerning is that PCR tests may not pick up an early infection and that the patient then develops COVID subsequently

    Why waste a good organ if the patient risk of Living is diminished by being a high risk

    In the Military you are required to take many vaccines

    Children are required to have many vaccines in order to be in child care

    The Far Right has made the Covid vaccines political ...................

    Good quote. I am not against isolation prior to surgery. The OP sounded like, the vaccine was the only option if he wanted surgery.
