Easy to “reply” umpteen times when you can’t accept the facts laid out before you nor offer anything negating what I posted

Once again, and for the umpteenth time, gun regulation is not unconstitutional, no Constitutional right is absolute, all can be, and are, regulated

Which one is a privilege and which one is a right? There is a difference you know.

Oh just great! Now there is another redirect option ;) I like the days where it was a question as to how taxing the law abiding stops gun crimes and keeps the guns from the illegal gun folks :(

Someone like that would have obtained the same arsenal illegally to mass murder people.

Might as well punish every responsible driver on the road to stop those who drink and drive. Maybe force everyone to breath into a sensor before they can start their car?

Maybe remove ALL sales of nuts because some people are deathly allergic?

the constant comparison to owning a gun to owning a car is so ignorant for the simple reason you have a constitutional right to own a gun you don't have a constitional right to own or drive a car
It's unconstitutional to put a unreasonable restriction or financial burden to exercise a right Like a poll tax
all this will do is keep the means of self and family protection out of reach of the poor ones that have no choice but to live in high crime areas needing protection more so then the rich that can afford the insurances
Lastly do you actually think a criminal will give a rats ass if it doesn't have gun insurance before it shots someone with it

I think what's being ignored here is local, it's California for starters, it's no stretch of the imagination that this tax is nothing more than a trojan horse tactic to do nothing but bleed $50 bucks more a year from some folk unfaily.. It's simply DNC deception, they know they can steal from the gun owners because the majority of California don't own a firearm so they will not give a crap one way or the other! And the criminals have never given a crap about any law and certainly will not care about a tax either...

Just more punishment from the party of taxation tyrannist in Cali ;)

In fact it's more than $25X2 per year, that just a state fee and the insurance is the icing on the turd ;)

The idea that an American citizen must pay a for profit company in order to exercise a right that’s enshrined in the Bill of Rights is patently unconstitutional.

And making law abiding citizens pay State Farm Insurance would do NOTHING about the problem of rising crime.

    NOTHING.

You just admitted to wanting to hinder access to guns for law abiding citizens. You do know this right?

Btw, that 30k number that you keep harping about in your posts? Over half of those are from suicides. No amount of insurance is going to stop that (those wanting to die don't care about money).... or help with it since insurance usually doesn't cover suicide acts.

Also by requiring insurance you are putting the blame of a criminal act on those who had their gun stolen. That is like blaming the rape victim for being raped because they went down a dark alley in skimpy clothes.

And the mask comes off. You are a statist and an authoritarian. Furthermore, while constitutional rights may not be unconditional, any person who wishes to put additional limits in place is highly dangerous and should be treated as such.

:worry: ~ Certainly this will apply to the criminals as well. California and New York should merge into one state ... :disbelief:

You realize that increase cost is a direct indicator of an increased demand on the market right?

Where insurance can be helpful is if a gun owner has their weapon taken and used in a crime, i.e., a shooting, and the victims family should decide to sue.

You have successfully shown a benefit to killers, rapists, and gang members. I am asking you how this will help the good people that obey laws. There is a reason you are unable to do so.

Interesting approach. It will be interesting to see what happens, maybe a national act along the same lines.

That option already exist and has for a very long time.. There is no need to intact an unconstitutional law to force good people to pay for something that in percentage wise will never be an issue!

It's already being filed, lawsuits, the mayor is already on record saying the constitution doesn't apply to California and the bay area or San Jose! I'll let you flesh that out for yourself ;)

I think we'd all just love to see you prove "30,000+ dead Americans" are the result of legal gun purchases.

What does the constitution have to do with this? No where that I could see did it impede the right to own firearms.
