Virginia’s Glenn Youngkin Bans CRT in Schools, Ends Statewide Mask Mandate in Day 1 Executive Orders

I don’t watch fox. I read them but I don’t watch. I don’t have cable or satellite.

I don’t believe it is being taught as a course, I believe that the ideals from those college courses have trickled into K-12 why else would a girl come home asking if she was evil because she was white? When I was in K-12 we obviously learned that whites were slave owners but we also didn’t point blame on current whites as evil for those deeds. That is a run off of CRT that made its way into k-12. It should not even be taught in college in my opinion but that is private schools so it is what it is.

 

It was a HOT BUTTON issue, ginned up and promoted by the RW media to get their base FEARFUL & ANGRY and EMOTIONALLY motivated to vote as this is not even taught, was a really good CUDGEL BTW (defund the police was a well deserved cudgel). It is and was all politics with the base's emotional heartstrings being pulled.

Look, it's done both sides but the RW has really gone over board with it in the last decade. My 2 cents worth, of course

John Legend has a great point... NOT teaching about race history in our state/country is certainly divisive... to the non-white segment....

Now this is the part where you ask me to show you where it is in the curriculum (go on, you know you want to).

Then I'll respond explaining how just because it's not written in the curriculum doesn't mean it isn't being taught (which is true) and you'll have no response at all.

In fact, it would be incredibly stupid of them to put it in writing that they're teaching it so no, you'll NEVER find it in the curriculum.

It was taught in loudan county VA, the same county where a man was arrested at a school board meeting for being upset about his daughter being raped in the girl's restroom by a male claiming to be Female. This is the county where Biden's AG labeled parents as terrorists for going to school board meeting.
