"Word Salad" .. That what they taught you to say when stuck in debate class :)

"Not an argument mate ... statement of fact ... Russia is arguing that the US/NATO is on its borders trying to dominate"

What part of the above is "Word Salad" to you -- lets see of we can help you sort things out .. help you to figure out the difference between general facts and an argument :deadhorse:

The guy who pumps out Putinist propaganda on an almost daily basis calling other people 'dumb'. That is priceless. The anger Putinists have for any nation in their region that tries to escape the oppressive incompetence of Russian domination says so much about what they truly value in this world. it isn't freedom, truth, honest government, human rights or even basic competence. It is Russia's right to do anything to anyone it chooses.

Like I said, it is clear which camp you are in.

I'll stick with supporting the right of nations once dominated by Russia to have a future where they get to make their own choices.

What Camp is that pray tell mate ? all I did was explain to you the fact that Russia's position is that the US/NATO is trying to dominate on its borders - and on hearing this well known factual information .. You want to throw the messenger into a camp of some kind --

Well that's nice - but has little to do with Russia's position - and while I get that this position seems to irk you some awful - don't need to shoot the messenger because he tells you what the enemy is thinking .. and you don't like it .. this is not rational nor logical

Here's a nice Christian lady telling about the abject poverty in Ukraine. Seems like Ukie land is the armpit I said it is.

No, it is an opinion being used to justify a very unpleasant position on the rights of nations to decide their own fates. No amount of obfuscation can hide that.

It's unlikely that Ukraine will join NATO. That would need to be voted on by other NATO nations and several European countries would not welcome the addition of Ukraine. Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Possibly second only to Russia.

    1) What's wrong with the Warsaw Pact? The Warsaw Pact bloc consisted of COMMUNIST countries. Suppression of uprisings against the communist system? I would look at you as you would crush the communist uprising in the capitalist USA. The State government, in principle, does not need communists either. The fact that the Warsaw Pact was created in opposition to NATO, so what is the problem? There was another counterweight to the same.

    2) Let's leave the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union collapsed 30 years ago. We are talking about today, although there I have something to object to. But I'm most interested in what about Georgia? What's wrong there? There Georgia attacked South Ossetia. During their attack on North Ossetia, the Georgians managed to kill 15 Russian peacekeepers. By using multiple launch rocket systems against Ossetia in Tskhinvali, with the use of cluster bombs (cluster bombs, Karl!), Georgia signed its own sentence. What's the problem here? Georgia got by its actions. Or will you follow Bush's words that "no country in the 21st century should attack another country" before giving the order for another order to bomb Baghdad?

I want to remind you, dear, that this is not the first attack of Georgians on Ossetians (estimate how many nationalities live there). Their first attempts were back in 1991. Moreover, the atrocities of the Georgians were directed mainly at the civilian population. Children, the older generation. Where was the USA then with its reproaches? Or is it in the order of things or bullying of this kind? Although what am I surprised about when Talon Anvil fired unmanned drones at civilians.

The fact that Georgia unleashed the war (initially it was not even a war, it was genocide) was recognized by a special commission of the EU - or will you argue with this, sir?

The same applies to Ukraine. However, if in the case of Georgia, Russian troops entered the territory of Georgia, then in the case of Ukraine, do you have evidence of the presence of Russian troops on the territory of Donbass? If firing rocket fire systems at residential areas is normal for you, then this is a reason to think about your adequacy. If the killing of civilians in Odessa, first the killing and beating of unarmed people from the bus, then burning indoors, and then finishing off those who are trying to escape is normal for you - this is a reason to think about your adequacy.

Famines? What are you talking about?

Lol! A rocket into Space? So the rocket was a Falcon 9. The satellite of Ukraine was among the 100 satellites of other countries. Even Angola launches its satellites!

What exactly are these threats expressed in? If we talk about the border with Ukraine, then this is the state border of Russia with another state, where a lot of weapons from the EU and the USA are supplied. Russian troops are on their own territory, even at the border. Is it impossible for troops to stand there?

Russia says USA is taking over Ukraine
Nth Korea says USA is 'destablizing the Korean penninsula with nuclear weapons.'
Hiter said 'The Jews are over-running Europe' and 'The Jews want war.'
Stalin said, 'There's a plot to kill me.'

See a pattern? Forget the history, forget the politics - think psychology.

You're just making up whatever that comforts your feeling that the west was justified to remove that elected government.
    It's not convicting.

It's actually the US who says the Russians who is taking over Ukraine.
It's rather typical for the US to start a war when they just ended one.
Korea, Vietnam, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria... it's always the US who starts one.
    That's a pattern right there.

You are the one "obfuscating" - pretending not to understand the difference between "Opinion/Editorial" and reporting what happened aka the news.

What opinion ? I have not given an opinion .. merely told you what Putins position is .. this is not my opinion .. is a statement of fact.

Putin/Lavrov have stated Russia's position numerous times -- in plain English. Russia does not like US/Nato trying to dominate along its borders - putting missiles on its borders - building bases on its borders.

Why is that so difficult for you to comprehend .. such that on hearing the message .. desperately try to demonize the messenger.

It is what it is mate .. is not my opinion . has nothing to do with that I think .. Got it ?

Neah. They kept on building. It's not as if Trump sent in the fleet into the territory of German/Polish/Russian sea and make them stop at gunpoint.

American simply is not able to stop Germany from acquiring a pipeline. Germany aint Afghanistan that you can just invade and make them do what you want it to do. And with that Biden did as much as Donald.

Did the USA start the Korean war? I thought it was the Communist north invading the
south. Same thing with South Vietnam actually. And did America start the Afghan war,
faking the 911 attacks to justify it - something about a pipeline they wanted?
And who knows, a week or two from now America will force Russia to invade Ukraine.
    Poor Russians.
And you can bet that if Putin sends his tanks, BUK missiles, infantry pouring into the
Ukraine there will be millions of enraged 'peace movement' folks taking to the streets
    of every Western capital.
... just joking --- they are not interested in 'peace' but 'America'

Reminds me of this classic joke from Syria.

    The US can not.
The pipeline goes through the territorial waters of Russia, Poland, Germany and them 3 small Baltic states. So to actually stop that pipeline would mean attack your fellow NATO members or attack a nuclear power.

    Not smart.

Is it? The US invaded Korea in 1945 and divided the country into 2.

Uh... no. The Vietnam war started with France trying to cling on to Vietnam as their colony and the Viet Minh, the communist, who opposed that capitalistic idea. The French who had their thug colonial rule still present in the south stepped out, to let the Americans take over. Nothing really changed for the south. We all know that epic image of that monk who committed suicide out of protest of the thug repression that just went on by setting himself on fire.

Yup. 911 was done by Al Qaida. The US invaded Afghanistan to do that regime change against the Taliban.
    Al Qaida =/= Taliban.

Russia is already in Ukraine. They took back the Crimea, remember? It was very unlike how the US invaded Iraq for no reason at all, except lies.. setting off a total catastrophe by letting ISIS spawn under their responsibility, that spilled over to Syria. Millions of people fled the place to escape the insanity the US created.
