Between 2016 and 2020, people like Silver and Sabato had realized their colossal mistake and "filled in the blind spots" to prevent the sort of catastrophic polling error that doomed the pollster's prrdictions in 2016.
Everybody KNEW that the Polls would be reliable in 2020 (and that Trump was toast).
In any event, Barrett was confirmed (regardless of Trump's perceived prospects).

 

It is, but under further scrutiny, her claim could not be back by any thing else. Evidence isn’t proof. She had no proof and the people she claimed were there could not back her up in the slightest. Basically, her testimony was the allegation. She needed more than that and had zilch.

 

Better than nothing.

She made an accusation, accusations are not evidence. She had no evidence to back her accusation. What she attempted to present as evidence fell on it's face as the persons she claimed to be witnesses denied any knowledge. Same with Thomas and Anita Hill, she had no evidence and her sole witness had to withdraw her testimony else face a charge of perjury.
