What makes you think I didn't say it back then?

I don't recall, were Kavanaugh or Barret picked for their skin color, or genitalia?

Witness Comes Forward: Biden’s Supreme Court Pick Sexually Assaulted Me 25 Years Ago.
    I admire her courage.

Yes, Republicans were refusing to fill vacancies. Some were extreme but many would have been bi-partisan even up to the last SCOTUS nominee they blocked from even receiving a vote because he would have been confirmed.

As to Republicans picking “qualified” justices — they were all selected due to their age and their ability to fall in line without question. Obama selected zero judges to receive a “not qualified” rating from the ABA — trump nominated nine and seven were placed.

Save the BS lies for someone not paying attention to what your party is doing. Your “proof” is because the right has refused to govern and thus have stopped allowing anything that isn’t a cultist through their ranks.

For many years the genitalia required was a penis. There were NO women on the Supreme Court until recent years.
The skin color required was White. There was NO person of color until Thurgood Marshall came along in the 60s.
    White males. Correct?

I don't normally agree with your posts if IRC, but this is spot on.

Preselected physical characteristics first and foremost, just like his VP. Discrimination at it's best......

And it was wrong to do that then, just as it would be wrong to do that now.
    See how that works?

So you have names of people who were qualified, or even more qualified then the candidates chosen at the times you felt someone else should have been confirmed?

Could it be that they weren't the most qualified? I'm not saying they weren't, but prior to 1960, just how many qualified judges were not selected?

And yet if we chart by district overturned decisions we see a direct collation in volume/frequency and saturation of leftist activist judges.

The Republican base did, absolutely. They didn’t like facts so they ignored it as they are prone to do. Polling showed otherwise and Republican Party leadership are actually intelligent.

Obama’s nominee should have been allowed a vote or trumps shouldn’t have been rushed through against the will of the people. But Republicans always do what they scream Democrats are doing — in this case forcing their agenda against the people of this nation.

So what are you saying then? That we shouldn't use race and gender as the primary criteria, or that we should but only if its to exclude Whites and males?

    Show us this chart then.
    Back up what you say

I’ve seen studies on the racial gap, none on the r v d one.

President Joe Biden is my new hero. He will go down in history as the President who nominated the first African-American lady for the Supreme Court.
I can hear the xenophobic (mostly Republicans) people grinding their teeth. :roflol:

Skin color, vagina. That's where it circles back to because that's where it started (/pssst it's how circles work).

They love to quote that one don't they? Also, they like to quote MLK's saying about skin color and character.

We're going to have 4 ladies on the Supreme Court. How nice!
    1) Sotomeyer
    2) Kagen
    3) Barrett
    4) Whoever the African-American lady will be.

I have no idea what you said back then but if you say "pick the one most qualified" logic says you think they were the most qualified and they were clearly not. They were picked for Roe v Wade.....period. Their "qualifications" were based on 1 issue. The fact that they are white plays to the Trump base and the Senate at the time. The fact that one of them is a woman is strickly a political move.

Why don't you just admit that White males were the only ones even considered for the Supreme Court until the 1960s?
Qualifications didn't mean squat and you know that as well as I do.
