    Hey thanks man.
Already on the case. We have a smoothie place here downtown
Wheatgrass is said to be stupid high in nutrients so I went there to get one of those unfortunately right now they're out of that.

Maybe they will have it today she just left to get radiation and she'll be back in an hour or so.

She was tolerating it pretty well but yesterday was the first day since her weekend off and you can tell it's starting to affect her.

Tomorrow will be her third chemo. And she's having a consultation with a specialist today about a feeding tube. Going to need that for a while because eating is starting to become very difficult for her.

They did not lie to her they told her this would be one of the more difficult Cancer treatments that they do. But what's the alternative?

Also, raspberry tea is supposed to help if she can tolerate it. I'm trying to remember all the things we had my sister taking when she was fighting the good fight. I'll throw them out there as I remember them, I have CRS these days.

Hang in there, and remember to take care of yourself too. Getting yourself sick isn't gonna help anyone.

I just had a 3-day weekend, the first one I've had since I've been working full-time nearly a year.

There's a guy that covers my two nights off and he told me if I need any time to let him know. So I asked if we could switch my weekends to match her weekends off of treatment.

He offered to work this weekend and my normal weekend I said no and then I thought about it I said you know a 3-day weekend wouldn't be too bad would you mind working Monday night.

My boss is cool he doesn't care what we work out between us as long as the shift is covered.

So I had plenty of time to spend with her and catch up on sleep and housework.

Back to the old grindstone at 10:00 p.m.

Try to catch two or three hours of sleep before work tonight having woke up at 7:00 a.m.

Your weekend's off on 3rd shifts can really throw you for a loop

~ As far as nutrition is concerned there is nothing I can find more dense in nutrients than liver. There are desiccated tablets if she cannot eat. Also Brewers yeast. Cannabis helps the nausea. Marinol is the perscription synthetic THC .
Best wishes to both of you.'

    @FatBack
A couple more things I remembered.

Oxygenate the blood... beet root helps do this along with Vitamin C. Food grade Hydrogen peroxide (diluted) is also good for cellular oxygenation.

Cut out processed sugars. Cancer thrives in anaerobic (lack of oxygen) high sugar environments.

I hope she's doing ok, it's a hellova uphill battle.

That global warming is really going strong tonight, a low of 27° here in Southwest Florida tonight.

Coldest I have seen it here in about 4 years.

My friend had a kid named Corbin about three and a half years old and when Corbin looked at me he began to cry.

I still had my beard very long and bushy at the time. Geez kid you sure know how to make somebody feel awkward!

I’m sorry she is going through this. In the last decade, we’ve had several friends kick cancer’s ass. One friend lost the fight and it was very sad. I cheer for your gf to win this fight!

    Well thank you for that....
She is about halfway through 7 weeks of treatment and just really started getting nauseous and tired from it.

She goes in Thursday to get a feeding tube since the cancer in her throat and that's where the radiation is going.

All things considered she's doing very well, though eating has recently gotten very difficult for her.

I feel bad even sitting here cooking food needing it in front of her but what the hell am I supposed to do I got to eat too right?

In addition to insure drinks she's eating baby food so whatever works get It down the hatch right!

I got to go to work tonight at 10:00 p.m. but that's okay, been a six day week I get a one day of overtime due to my 3-day weekend and shifting our days off.

One more shift and then I get my 2-day weekend woohoo!

It’s hard, but don’t feel guilty for being healthy. That’s not what she needs.

do consider medical MJ. It’s incredibly effective; more so than any big pharm pill. Added bonus of no real side effects.

Glad to hear it. Pro tip - gummies and capsules can go on a cruise and nobody can know.

Oh yes to shrooms. I rarely smoke, but I have taken almost no Xanax since I got my medical card. I prefer non smoking routes.

I know when I started regularly using them 20 years ago I knew the world was being done a disservice if they weren't studied for their potential.

Compared to a Woodstock hippie I was what 40 50 years too late?

I used to scope out shroomfields, and were Earth tone colored clothing or camo, and stash my bicycle somewhere down the road in the ditch and go and do my thing!

~ Interesting thing about the research is that one dose ( experience ) lasts up to 12 months. :aww:

I have found that the physical effects anyways of a mushroom experience last right around 6 hours.

The peak experience tends to come on about 2 hours after ingestion and last up to about hour number four and a half.

And it's downhill from there, about hour six you start feeling relatively normal again. Regardless of the dose. Even a threshold dose.

But that's speaking purely of the physical effects alone. The mental effects and the after effects of it is a completely different story.

I have not ate any and many years now and I may never again. But in my early twenties I did them hundreds of times some very heavy doses

I wouldn't mind a little Mary Jane. Ya see, I cut my thumb on my table saw today. My thumb was turned sideways and it cut under the nail and hit the bone. The doctor wouldn't fix it so he sent me to the emergency room. When it first happened it was splayed out pretty good and I could see the bone sticking out. I just grabbed my thumb and didn't look at it anymore. It actually made me a little woozy to look at it. A little pot might make the wound a little more tolerable. I would be wounded...but happy.
