Of the big four, Russia has far and away the smallest population, the biggest land area and is increasingly behind technologically. They are stuck between the two largest powers population wise, and has the third and currently the most technologically advanced a 20 minute boat ride to the east across the Bering sea. So yes the Russian leadership, is understandably a bit paranoid.

This doesn't seem to be warmongering to me, and is not misaligned with what allies are doing. Looks like this move by the State Department is meant to prevent this from happening. If this were warmongering, they'd be rooting for it to happen. What you are saying makes no sense whatsoever.

Actually, let's examine that.

1. NATO is a DEFENSIVE alliance. It's mission is not securing the borders of Ukraine, any more than it's mission is securing the US/Mexico border.
2. We aren't in alignment with major allies. France, Germany and even Ukraine have made it clear that Biden is not being helpful

That's a lot conjecture, that's not evidence, in response to the request for evidence. When evidence is requested, it's very important at the end of the response provided to carefully check the response and determine if it included any actual evidence. To simplify:

Also, I'm recovering from COVID, and comparing my experience with some of my friends who are going through it unvaxxed, I really appreciate the way you kept addressing my arguments with information.
