    Info straight from Pentagon I guess? :) And what's the point for US to take "acceptable damage" or damage at all to destroy Russia? Why they should do it?

    Then why Ukraine is so important, if US can deploy these missiles un Poland and Baltic States? Where is the logic here? :D

    US missiles in Poland are ordinary medium-range missiles with nuclear warheads and their purpose is to destroy Russian missiles before launch. So they will be the first to launch.

    A rocket flies from Ukraine to Moscow in 5 minutes, and from Poland 12 minutes. Every minute is critical to the successful launch of oncoming missiles. In the case of Ukraine, this will not be possible.

    And how long it flys from Latvia to Moscow or from Estonia to second city of Russia - Petersburg? It's just the same or in case of Petersburg - much faster. But there is no singe rocket in Baltic States, so all Your statements are just bullshit.

    We can both post pictures of Putin shaking hands with U.S. presidents, but it's policy that matters, and it was the Democratic administrations that weakened the positions of the U.S. and its allies in Europe and Ukraine against Russia by blaming the U.S. for Putin's hostility towards the U.S. (hello "Reset" buttons), canceling Bush's missile defense system in Eastern Europe because it pissed off the Russians, refusing to provide Ukraine with lethal weapons, playing nice-nice with the deadbeats who weren't pulling their weight in NATO, selling out Ukraine to make deals with our enemies in Tehran, lifting sanctions against Nord Stream 2, refusing to send U.S. destroyers into the Black Sea on routine deployments because it might upset the Kremlin, etc.. It's no wonder, accident or coincidence that Putin's invasions of Ukraine took place while Obama and Biden were in the White House.

    I don't care what Putin said. I am only interested in the US missile base in Poland, which at any moment can begin to destroy the vital centers of Russia at a distance of 2500 km. The same base on Ukraine would instantly trigger a major nuclear war in the Northern Hemisphere.
