BS! Look at a map sometime. Poland is a highly strategic position that allows for the defense of much of Europe.

Which is odd behavior from dear old Vlady since the system is designed and aimed at stopping inbound ICBMs fired from the direction of the Middle East (think Iran)! It has nowhere near enough missiles to do more than put a small dent in any serious Russian missile attack. Ten times as many missiles wouldn't be enough!

From the BS king :) See above post for what an example of a BS post looks like.

Generally when you post something - in response to something you don't like - you want to try to make an "argument"

An argument consists of 2 things 1) statement of claim 2) rational or evidence or proof as to why this claim is true.

You have (1) figured out .. good job :) .. you are having trouble with #2 though .. need to work on that if you want to graduate from the Peanut Gallery .. You can do it .. Yes you can -- If Jack can't do it .. no one can :cheerleader:.

Yeah .. thats the story - "There really for other missiles" although they are installed in the wrong place to protect Europe if that were the case .. one for the gullible I suppose .. standard propaganda to keep the raging masses warm and fed.. Russia offered NATO a track of land that would be useful for such an endeavor.. .

The idea that "its not enough to do real damage" is purile nonsense - its still poking the bear .. and who says NATO will not put more ..Got to nip these things in the Bud .. but that just one issue .. Only the uninformed would believe that Putin would just allow its 400 year old port in Crimea -- and major Strategic interest - to fall into the hands of NATO . that was never in the cards .. and everybody knew it .. Putin drawing a big red line in the sand .. letting everyone know .. don't do it.. Then after they did it -- and Putin responded .. all the NATO pundits wandered around the room pretending to be stunned .. "Why did he do that " boo hoo hoo.

Now this invasion -- we can wander around acting stunned .. cause few predicted this response.

No. they didn't. They also didn't predict how badly its going - for Moscow!. And NATO? All it needs to do is keep funneling in all that critical high tech support, all the while not attacking Russia itself. And Vlad was worried about Ukraine joining NATO? Well now Sweden and Finland are well on their way to joining and he's about to be on the receiving end of the worst recession in living memory - and that's at the admission of his own Fiance Ministry!

Just keep reassuring yourself its all going exactly to plan!

Just for laughs - Russian speaker of parliament, Matvienko, admitted that she was surprised to learn that Russia doesn’t produce nails. I’m talking about common construction nails.

Don't think Putin ever had designs on Poland/Finland ... so that matters not. Your right that this thing doesn't seem to be going as planned from a military perspective .. think he wanted to waltz in and take over quickly .. but this doesn't tell us much about the overall plan .. so how good or badely that is going .. yet to be determined.. You are a better prophet than I if you can see the endgame in this one.

but, there are other things going on outside of the war theatre .. a bigger game - "the Game" when it comes down to it .. as Russia knows all too well that the cost of projecting power these days is ridiculously high .. this war taking it to a new level in terms of cost ..

The real Geopolitical game is economic .. military no longer the strongest piece on the board .. hasn't been that way since nukes arrived ..

You post focuses on petty nuances .. which is fine .. but there is other stuff going on here .. moves being made not just by Russia .. but the other players ..

Tell you one thing .. that India - the UAE-El Saud - did not join in the party .. and of course china but we knew that ... so not so much of a let-down .. but the others .. along with numerous othe nations but these the main two .. is a problem .. especially since using the "Economic Nuclear Option" - looses its potency .. yet we feel the full brunt of this action .. cracks in the economic foundation widening

Wouldn't have been so bad if Trump wouldn't have done it.. but twice in 2 Presidents .. not good. Not that I would have done much different .. but can't be happy with the one's who didn't join the party.

Big cracks in US hegemony --- which has been an ongoing for quite some time -- but this has really exposed those cracks .. getting harder and harder to ignore .. like we have been doing.. Biden in complete la la land .. getting shunted to the back of the room .. his peanut gallery comments unwelcome .. Macron having to take the lead .. telling Biden to shut up .. like .. holy carp .. since when has this been plausible reality ..

That is why they chose to do it via the VENTILATION SYSTEM .... as I said originally. BTW: What I saw said they were using fire trucks which use 75-100mm hoses and pumps designed to force a water column up 10-12 stories high? Throughput from those is what thousands of litre's a minute? These Russian's are quite smart they just don't boast about how smart they are! .

Ukraine claims it hit a Russian warship with a missile strike. Russia says otherwise

From CNN's Paul P. Murphy, Frederick Pleitgen, Vasco Cotovio and Josh Pennington

A satellite image shows Russian warship the Moskva in the port of Sevastopol, Crimea on April 7. (Satellite Image © 2022 Maxar Technologies)

Conflicting reports have emerged from the Russians and Ukrainians about an incident involving a Russian warship in the Black Sea.

No evidence has emerged to support either claim and CNN is unable to independently verify what took place.

What the Russians say: The Russian Defense Ministry claimed Wednesday that the warship Moskva was evacuated after a fire onboard detonated ammunition, seriously damaging the vessel, according to Russian state media.

What the Ukrainians say: Hours earlier, Odesa state regional administrator Maxim Marchenko claimed in a post on Telegram that Ukrainian forces hit the ship with "Neptune" missiles causing serious damage to it.

Poor weather: Due to large storms over the Black Sea obscuring satellite imagery and sensory satellite data, CNN has not been able to visually confirm the ship has been hit. The Russian Defense Ministry has also not posted any official statement to its Telegram channel acknowledging the evacuation, or fire onboard.

Russian state media outlets TASS and RIA reported the ship's crew was evacuated and that the cause of the fire was still being established. According to the Defense Ministry, the Moskva is a missile cruiser that was built and commissioned in 1982.

Satellite images from Maxar Technologies showed the ship just northwest of Sevastopol, Crimea on April 10.

Live updates: Ukraine claims it hit a Russian warship with a missile strike. Russia says otherwise (cnn.com)

 Either way, it's one more colossal embarrassment and loss for Russia. Either their ship was struck by Ukrainians or it managed to catch fire on its own and reach the point where its ammo exploded and it needed to be evacuated.

The best account of the situation in Ukraine. Why the conflict started? Irrefutable evidence of Washington DC involvement.

    THE MILITARY SITUATION IN UKRAINE
    JACQUES BAUD
Former Colonel of the General Staff, former member of Swiss strategic intelligence, specialist in Eastern European countries.

    https://cf2r.org/documentation/la-situation-militaire-en-ukraine/

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense then turned to NATO to help it make its armed forces more “attractive”. Having already worked on similar projects within the framework of the United Nations, I was asked by NATO to participate in a program intended to restore the image of the Ukrainian armed forces. But it's a long process and the Ukrainians want to go quickly.

Thus, to compensate for the lack of soldiers, the Ukrainian government then resorted to paramilitary militias. They are essentially made up of foreign mercenaries, often far-right activists. As of 2020, they constitute around 40% of Ukraine's forces and number around 102,000 men according to Reuters . They are armed, financed and trained by the United States, Great Britain, Canada and France. There are more than 19 nationalities – including Swiss.

Western countries have therefore clearly created and supported Ukrainian far-right militias . In October 2021, the Jerusalem Post sounded the alarm by denouncing the Centuria project . These militias have been operating in the Donbass since 2014, with Western support. Even if we can discuss the term "Nazi", the fact remains that these militias are violent, convey a nauseating ideology and are virulently anti-Semitic. Their anti-Semitism is more cultural than political, which is why the adjective "Nazi" is not really appropriate. Their hatred of the Jew comes from the great famines of the years 1920-1930 in Ukraine, resulting from the confiscation of crops by Stalin in order to finance the modernization of the Red Army. However, this genocide – known in Ukraine as the Holodomor – was perpetrated by the NKVD (predecessor of the KGB) whose upper leadership echelons were mainly made up of Jews. This is why, today, Ukrainian extremists are asking Israel to apologize for the crimes of communism , as the Jerusalem Post reports . We are therefore a long way from a “ rewriting of history ” by Vladimir Putin.

The base in Redzikovo will not be able to protect anyone. It is located too close to Russia and will be destroyed in 2 minutes. This base contains medium-range missiles and is needed only for the first strike on the vital centers of Russia.
The missile base in Poland is proof of the NATO bloc's plans to attack Russia first.

The US missile base in Poland is a very important target for Russia and is always under the constant sight of several Zirkon hypersonic missiles that fly at a speed of 2 km. per second. The distance to the base from Russia is 200 km. Therefore, the Zircon rocket will reach the base in Redzikovo in 100 seconds.

Report the purpose of the base in Redzikovo with a lifetime of 1.5 - 2 minutes after the start of the war.

While the war is going on, no NATO missile bases will appear in Ukraine. And this is the main thing.
