There are a lot of people who don’t want the gay agenda shoved down their throats. People like Jehovahs Witnesses, Muslims and tons of Asian and oriental countries severely frown on it. But then we have those tolerant Muslim Iranians who believe gays have super powers that allow them to fly. Gays have it good here and I don’t see any of them claiming to be oppressed and seeking asylum in other countries.

Thankfully I'm not in school anymore (obviously), and we use family lessons and our church to correct the statements of our mentally ill rainbow warriors.

Public schooling is the best way to take away public thought, to destroy descent, to destroy any view contrary to the state. I would much rather have a descending populace than a conformist population.

It's how the founding fathers eliminated indigenous culture in one generation.

I'm not against homeschooling, and agree it should be somewhat subsidized.

I want school choice, dammit! Let me have a voucher and send my kid wherever I want.

Your nephews and nieces will believe all their lives that God created the Earth in six days and that Moses separated the waters of the Nile to escape the Egyptians.

    It's fantastic.

No, it's not. It's not a "study" at all. It's the opinion of a retired law professor who is advocating for banning homeschooling and by all appearances is on an anti-Christian crusade and thinks parents are a threat to their children.

Jeez, you're really terrible at this debate thing. You're now 0 for 2 on calling things studies that are not studies. No, this article is also not a "study". It's just a longer form of the same parent-hating ideas by the same anti-Christian former law professor. Don't tell me, let me guess: you went to public school, didn't you?

Hmm, I wonder why parents would possibly be choosing to abandon public schools.

Perhaps it has something to do with the WE GOTTA SAY GAY EVERY FIVE MINUTES! indoctrination.

    What do you think, groomers?

I think you do well to keep your children at home.

There is too much risk that they will become gay if they meet them at school or just learn that they exist.

Well in my Catholic church, we are taught tolerance towards others and accepting them. In fact, there is the prayer, Our Father, that alludes to such.

Sure... you attend a catholic church that's pro abortion and Pro gay teachers educating children with gay agenda. What parish would that be by chance because we both know it doesn't actually exist.

Yes, technically it was the NSBA that said frustrated parents' "heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes" and then the DoJ obliged by saying the DoJ "is committed to using its authority and resources to discourage these threats, identify them when they occur, and prosecute them when appropriate." Of course, since then we've learned that the Feds actually solicited the NSBA letter. AFAIK, it's unclear who injected the "terrorism" language in the letter, either the Education Secretary itself, someone on its staff, or the NSBA at their behest.

And it was that letter that was the basis for mobilizing federal law enforcement resources against frustrated parents, in an overt attempt to intimidate them into silence.

No you said that. Pope Francis has publicly stated gays should not disparaged.

Absolutely! That could open it up to more disadvantaged failing students. Really, we should have a nation voucher system and just drop Public Education.

Unlike public schools the teaching is 1 on 1. They test till they get it right. That doesn't make them necessarily smarter they are given more chances to get it right. Yeah, I'll criticize it as most teachers would. They (parents)don't have to deal a whole class and besides the academic work the social interactions that teachers do. Then as far as SAT's and ACT's and the grades.....well, I just addressed that. I don't know about "better college performance". Maybe they do, maybe they don't. More activities? How does that work? You want to teach you own kids....knock yourself out. I'm surprised at the hubris at those that do, but it's your kid. I'm also surprised at those that let them go to all the leftist colleges to be indoctranated but then again we are talking about adults at that point.
