I would prefer DJT and MTG, but Manchin/Sinema would be a good DP ticket.

    Sinema/Manchin -- even better.

I will never vote for a liberal period and I will never vote for Trump so if it's him I'll vote 3rd party

Tom Cotton (President), and Tulsi Gabbard (Vice-President). Together, they really would "make America great again"!

I like Cotton too. I fear he has what may be mistakenly taken for a sour streak, and this may be a political liability. Crenshaw is more the "happy warrior", but as someone noted, he was born in Scotland.

Do you people really think there is a republican alive who can mend this country? By definition, if someone is a republican he or she isn't qualified to be in office. And half the country will hate them.

There is no fixing this country anymore. The real engines of the US economy, the Blue States, are done with your right wing insanity. Trump was the last straw. There is no going back now. You are all just blowing smoke up each other's skirts.

When you elected trump, you destroyed the country.

I meet a lot of young people in a liberal state. The notion of patriotism has been reduced to a sad joke. The flag is a symbol of oppression. It is a symbol of right-wing fanaticism. It has even been defaced by trump and a blue stripe was added. It isn't even the US flag anymore.

First, I remember when Ross Perot was called racist for saying "you people." Guess it's okay for you to do it though, because you're good and we're bad, and we're probably mostly white guys.
    https://archive.seattletimes.com/archive/?date=19920712&slug=1501684

But to your point, I'd say that if enough people on your side think the way you do, then no, I obviously do not think we can be "mended," if you mean "united." Not that I expect a president to be our spiritual father or something like Ponytail Guy wanted, any way. (Remember him?)

We, however, could accept if not love a Democratic President like Tulsi, Manchin, or anyone from the Bluedog coalition.
    https://bluedogcaucus-murphy.house.gov/

I would even accept a Dick Durbin or Amy Klobuchar. Any one who wins in the electoral college deserves to be called Mr. or Ms. President. None of this Zir stuff, though. I accept if not respect Joe Biden now, though he makes me cringe.

See, Democracy does not mean you always get your way. You and your young people in a blue state are not the only ones with a voter ID (sucks, don't it?), though I don't know why you vote with your negative attitude anyway. What's the point? And LOL at the flag and oppression.

Finally, I hope you realize that Trump got a lot of votes up north. He won Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Iowa, I think. And he damned near won Minnesota. Look at the counties he won in NH and NY states!

~ Yes looking back at this is a sad reminder. This was the time Bush first mentioned "New World Order" to the public and it flew over our heads. We were told it would be — it had to be the new world way — it had to work . We were not told the details. We were not allowed to vote on this scheme. Nothing was ever really explained. I believe at that moment Ross Perot looked a bit perplexed at the revelation.

    Regardless of anybody's "Dream Ticket"...
We are (most likely) headed to a Biden/Trump Rematch...
The only question is who will be Trump's Running Mate...

Remember how you like to talk all that smack about Florida?
If it sucks so bad why is this region leading the nation in real estate searches?

Have you ever considered meditation or something to help you with all the anger and hate you're harboring?

Has Punta Gorda been rebuilt after getting wiped out? I guess it has a while, so I assume it has.

It's growing like crazy. I'm kind of glad I don't live there but only about 30 miles away. I ate at a German restaurant there last week it was pretty good. I can see why people like it there. You have fort DeSoto Park which is not far past downtown. It's a very nice place to fish.

Hurricane Charlie was 2004. So yes plenty of time to rebuild. I expect Northport will be the next big real estate boom.

We bought and sold in Ft Myers doing the boom, and that place was terrible as far as traffic goes. Small place, and yet takes forever to travel few miles to the beaches. I would NOT want to live there. There are lot of people in SE, but at least we have 16 lane highways to deal with it.

They made a song about our I-95

Not all Democrats are 'liberals'..... the name tags some like to stick on other people have become so corrupted that I've learn to ignore the label and take a good look at the actual person.

Too bad Dan Crenshaw is a White man. If he weren't White, it is likely that many in America wouldn't even care if he was a "natural born Citizen" or not! 8)

Consider: whether Barack Obama was legally or actually a "natural born Citizen", a majority of American voters indicated clearly that they simply didn't CARE whether he was or not -- regardless of what the Constitution of the United States says quite clearly in Section 1, Article 2....

So, Americans elected a hyperliberal, Black college teacher with an obscure background, without the slightest concern, but must not consider a former U. S. Navy SEAL and current elected member of the U. S. House of Representatives...?

Does anyone really wonder how this country got to be as fugged-up as we are today...?! :lonely:
