If you're attacked on the street it's far more akin to being sniped at from a distance as a battlefield situation, and what good is your gun then?

 

You act as if the number of guns can never even be reduced even slightly. Other nations have been heavily armed and are disarmed today, it can be done.

 

Move to one of them. They already share your values. At least half of America does not and will react very poorly if you attempt to force your values upon them using government force.

 

Well if I’m getting sniped by Chris Kyle probably not much good.

Fortunately for me I’m far more likely to get shot at by Daquan than I am Chris Kyle. And Daquan holds his gun sideways. So I’d rather have my gun.

 

You would do about as well with that as you would with your plan for the government to force people to take a vaccine.

Imma say this again. An 18 year old with clear psychopathy writing a detailed 180 page manifesto about white birth rates and guns seems highly questionable to me. Especially since no one has definitively tied him to that manifesto.

If you want to know what's really curious, the Biden Administration spent SIX MONTHS workshopping "Ultra-MAGA." They actually thought this was a good put down.

So the shooter is pro-Ukraine? Well he might get probation then.

 

I have yet to understand why anyone would hold a gun that way

 

There are roughly 330 million American men, women and children in the US who own about 400 million firearms so I don't think you'll find any other country that has or has had as many firearms per person as the US.

Additionally, there is no other country of which I am aware that has anything like our 2nd Amendment enshrined it its constitution so I don't think that Americans are going to part with their firearms any more readily than they did their alcohol during Prohibition or their illegal drugs, today.

If we have learned nothing else from those two failed crusades it is that human behavior cannot be changed by manipulating inanimate objects.

Please spell out the details of exactly how you propose to disarm Americans.

I'm pointing out that banning guns won't solve anything. Are you trying to turn the U.S. into a third world country? That's what you'll have if you're u disarm the law abiding citizens.

 

Gun free zones obviously don't work. But, keep thinking they do.

 

I agree with your overall assessment on the amount of weapons, specifically the guns, and the relation to the 2nd amendment. But I seriously doubt adding more guns would change people's hatred, whether right, wrong or indifferent.

These insane shootings will continue and it is time for all to realize it needs to stop. While it's doubtful at this time we are going to get a consensus for this issue, it is time we accept it is a problem.

 

Azov is a Ukrainian neo-Nazi unit, and hardly a representative of the whole country.

As for charges, - he might face federal charges which will put death penalty on the table.

 

But, they killed 800,000 people mostly with machetes. That kills the fewer guns = less murder argument.

It takes practice and skill to drive a car. Should we stop teaching people how to drive because you think it takes too much training?

You people aren't interested in saving lives. You're only interested in banning guns.

We do have more guns than any other nation and more gun deaths per capita by an order of magnitude or more, than most other nations. This cannot be denied.

Well, this one DID have guns involved. We can't outlaw SUVs. But we CAN restrict guns. So I have no idea what relevance you think your post has.
