The reasons are at your fingertips. I’ll give you the remedies.
We have to raise interest rates to slow the economy*. Not good with an election coming up, so they will ignore inflation until after the mid terms.
Then given Biden’s track record of screwing things up, he will dump us into stagflation**. We might be able to come out approaching the presidential race in ‘24 because first and foremost, the swamp*** wants to survive.

*takes money out of the economy.
    **inflation during a recession.
    ***elected officials and their staffs****
****The staff does the real work by preparing summaries, etc.

I do toss and turn worrying about the votes of low information voters going “Eneey, meaney, miney, mo…”

I don't see that as the opinion of the OP. It reads more like someone who doesn't like what Big Government/Biden has done TO the economy.

I mean, I can quote you saying your 401k and stocks were killing it, so all the other Biden stuff, so what? Well, now what do you have when you don't even have that?

no it did not, the fed doesn't do this during a great economy... that the economy was great pre-covid is one of the biggest lies the Republicans ever told.

the FED was pumping trillions into the economy to keep it afloat under Trump

It absolutely did lol. Our economy under Trump was one of the best we have had in our lifetime and that was while spending less than Obama did during his first 3 years, and creating an inverse trend between lfpr and unemployment. Then Brandon takes over and we enter an actual recession.

yes, only due to the FED dumping trillions into the economy to keep it afloat pre-covid, but now we see the effect of that.... inflation

Obama had to clean up after Bush
Biden has to clean up after Trump

Trump raised the debt almost as much in 4 years as Obama did in 8

"Trump’s most enduring legacy could be the historic rise in the national debt"

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2021/01/14/trump-legacy-national-debt-increasee/

"It rose almost $7.8 trillion during his time in the White House — approaching World War II levels, relative to the size of the economy. This time around, it will be much harder to dig ourselves out."

    Wait a minute.....

After Congress unanimously voted for a $600 stimulus check, who, who, who stirred the pot/staunchly demanded an additional $400 billion/$2,000 for all?

Also, back then, (Dec 2020), I don’t remember you opposing Trump’s request.

Trump spent less than Obama for his first 3 years and had a better economy. Reversed pathetic trends that Obama had, and truly did so much more while spending less. People remember that now more than ever under dem leadership that has driven us directly to a recession and closer to WW3 than we have ever been.

you don't count 3 years, Trump was President for 4 years

if we are not gonna count Trump spending under Covid, then I guess Biden is still at zero spending

There’s no doubt that Biden’s $1.9 rescue plan over-stimulated the economy, and according to my calculations, the transfer payments have boosted our YoY inflation rate by approx. 2%.

However, let’s be fair; Inflation caused by Ukraine and Corporate profiteering.......not Biden’s fault.
