Clint Eastwood used one (Remington) where he played a preacher in a mining community, he carried, several cylinders preloaded,

I figure that I ever got another pair, I'd also order extra cylinders.

Twinkle Toes got into my 8 rows of corn and I have less corn now. Twinkle Toes is a female Boar goat. I am just going to have about 6 rows of corn now. I did plant another 4 rows the other day. I am going to replace this stuff with purple hull peas or sunflower. I have notice that my bonnies best tomatoes are going gangbusters and some beefsteak tomatoes are wilting. I have another spot planted with beefsteak tomatoes so we will see. If I get wilting I plant corn. Persistant herbicides don't hurt corn. I have a long growing season. I can do different stuff.

Too bad you can't convey to Twinkle that grain fed livestock is our favorite flavor.

I have intended to put in a few hours of ranchito work after the office. But 109 degree (days in a row) temp dissuades me.

So I finally got up early enough to put an hour or so. I'd work by moonlight if the work wasn't so noisey.

Mrs. Wolfe and I are in Montclair to see Lisa Lisa ... a really old performer from the 80s. She ain't even in the city. The act should started 40 minutes ago. This sucks. I wanna leave but my wife is da boss.

I'd say boycott the imbecile but almost nobody knows who she is anymore. It'd be like asking people to boycott Brussel Sprouts.

20220516_083106_HDR.jpg My creeping phlox is about rooted.....from now on shall be called thrift. I have lost 22 cuttings so far. But the rest look pretty healthy. I pulled one and it had a tiny root formed. I like to keep cuttings almost in my way so I don't forget them and far enough away I don't have to move them. And bright shade for thrift. Full sun is a little too much except for short periods of time. These were taken a little early.

I have a bunch of reclaimed wood out of the rain and sun. The sun does a lot of damage. It will literally twist lumber.

heat rays!!! I scurry from shady spot to shady spot so the heat rays don't become death rays. I don't know what else to compare it to. Hair dryer on high doesn't do it... because that has the element of wind.

It's juggling convention time at the farm.
I started it up back in 1999 and it's still going strong.
10 days of camping, drinking, playing poker and ping-pong and, if time, some juggling.
The meadow is looking fantastic. Bright yellow with all the buttercups.
Lovely sunny spring weather so far.

We have known each other longer than six years.

Start a thread in the sports area. You used to do that on dcf. They were fun. Include trebuchet pics. I miss those.

I'm pretty sure it was April 2016 when I started posting on the Dan Carlin Forum.
Only about 7 months before it shut down. Back then your avatar was a leather clad dominatrix with a big whip.

I did start an International Sports thread here that ran for a few pages.

Wow. Seems I’m over remembering. Feels like the trebuchet has been a big part of my online life. Lol

as to the thread…. Hard to get traction on a non politically divisive thread, but, once in awhile.

I tried to juggle once or twice. I have no talent. It is great to see you able to have some fun.

for years I went to a get together on 4th of July weekend. Some of the guys had machine guns and cannon.
My wife ruined it for me tho'. The first time I took her in the 10 or so years I attended, some of the old timers started bringing their OLs, and so I brought mine....... It was by far the greatest time I'd ever had.I borrowed a off road thingy, explored several old line camp and ranch HQ (left in most pristine conditions since no later that the early 70s) and I was done, it last ended up being one guy I know and all his friends and his ex-girlfriend's brother-in-laws (and her sisters) where the only ones still going out there.. Might find it on sat. photo "campholland, texas" or just search ten miles south of Valentine Tx. It was a very interesting locale, lot of stories from around there.

Camps of people who share an interest are such great places to learn new tricks and share knowledge.
I'd say that 80% of the tricks I've learned over the years were a result of practicing with other jugglers at conventions.

It's one of those things you can teach yourself to do but it's much easier with someone giving you a few tips.
Unless you are one of these uncoordinated people who can't tap their foot in time to music I think most people could be taught to juggle 3 balls.
It just takes a little practice and a bit of determination.
Look online for a learn to juggle video if you want to try again.
One good bit of advice is practice over a bed or couch so you don't have to bend down so far to pick up dropped balls.
Also, use something fairly heavy that won't bounce out of your hand. Tennis balls are not ideal. Beanbags are very forgiving.

A/C that's how Phoenix was able to developed.
Haven't checked the thermometer yet today.. but I know it is over 100 degrees, as it will be everyday well into August/First of Sept. I keep my skin covered and stay in the shade (or A/C)
