Yes and no. Anyone can "recreate" emails with return addresses, content, etc. You have to look at the time stamp of those emails and do a complete forensic computer audit to determine the veracity. Otherwise, every disgruntled female would be doing this to get rid of their spouse/significant other/boyfriend after being scorned. You may want to think about that before you reply.
