There is a reason the OP linked article does not divulge the name/names of the “journalists” who wrote the piece—because it’s garbage journalism. The facts of the story are not known to whoever wrote the piece. They should have investigated enough to find out which girl is lying.

The linked article and the OP are disseminating disinformation in an attempt to appeal to our emotions. I’m not falling for such nonsense.

 

So, during the track practice the girls were told to wear a shirt. According to your own article the boys were also asked to wear a shirt when they tried to go topless. Both sides complied. One of the girls started an online petition as a result of this. And then the girls showed up to a Lacrosse practice again wearing sports bras, knowing that per school policy they were supposed to wear shirts. That was when they were told to leave. They weren't told to leave for the track practice. Nothing is mentioned about the boys wearing shirts or not at the Lacrosse practice. So we can only assume that they were since the article mentions it for the track practice.

I'm not seeing the conflict here? Is it just the fact that the girls were told to wear a shirt over their sports bras? Because according to the article the boys were told to wear a shirt also. The administrator from what I can tell was just following the dress code.

In any case. Your hyperbole about the GOP is idiotic. Don't know where you've been for the last couple of decades but the GOP have been fairly outspoken AGAINST burkas.

the sports bra is optional, the shirt isn't. Put it on or don't participate.

 

Actually it does give the man the right to look. :shrug: When you're in public there is no expectation of privacy.

It is interesting though. So many (both on the left and the right) love to holler about consequences and responsibility. But both sides apply such to different things, and then turn around and demand that no consequences should happen or responsibility held for X action.

Its as if neither side understand action and reaction and consequences for both.

Yep I’ve been sucked into this sort of nonsense too many times. I don’t even look at 50% of threads on here anymore. The thread title is just too obviously intended to outrage someone. I’ve found such threads are almost always based on false information or misrepresentation of information. But I still get bit from time to time.
