What! a Effin waste of Life and Resources, this War in Ukraine has been such an embarrassment to Russia and what a horribly stupid plan. Russia has been exposed as an inept military power and other than the fact they have Nuclear weapons, their military sucks.
Well, Ukraine used to do maintenance on nukes that go on older ICBMs, as they manufactured them. But Russia kind of ruined the relationship with Ukraine 8 years ago… Those nukes were supposed to expire soon, if not already.
All because they wouldnt double pinky swear that they wont join NATO in the future. Russia needs to be isolated. Take their place as the next hermit kingdom like North Korea. The people of Russia support Putin and his invasion. They are incapeable of participating in the modern world

Well ... Russians have declared to have received the Italian peace plan [how? We haven't sent it to them directly ...]. The public version revealed by an Italian newspaper is substantially Science Fiction. The real content of the plan is well more acceptable and feasible. Personally, I would suggest to our friend [former good friend] Vladimir Vladimirovich [at Kiev they have already intuited something about this plan] to read it with calm. Take your time. No one is on a hurry. Then you can reject it, no problem: we will work to something different. But ... spend a thought.
You didn't serve in the military in any serious capacity - not for any length of time - please tell me this is so ..
Their tanks aren't the problem, at least the newer ones. It the integration of the tank with air cover and infantry that's wrong. A Javelin missile can take out an Abrams tank too.
Or scatter weapons-grade nuclear debris over hundreds of square miles if they break up after the initial boost phase.
Ohhhh .don't you worry a bit Zoomie . wont matter much if a few don't work .. plenty more that will... 10% of arsenal required to turn USA into a red no go zone for 20 years... what difference does "weapons grade nuclear debris over hundreds of square miles" make ? ? did you think the US will not shoot back ? Russia will be a red no go zone for next 20 years .. same as USA .. your dream of a Mad Max apocalypse realized

A warhead designed to withstand the heat of reentry won’t break up. As far as I know modern nukes are designed in such a way that it’s pretty difficult to detonate them. An aging warhead that wasn’t maintained for a while will probably just fail to explode. I think the bigger issues for Russians will be ICBMs themselves - a rocket that uses liquid fuel can easily blow up during fueling process and poorly maintained ICBM can blow up on launch, or it can fail during flight, like when the booster stage separates from the warhead. Russian most recent attempt to send a probe to Mars’ moons reached LEO, but then died and ended up falling back on earth. Russia has over 400 R36 Satan ICBMs that are old, use liquid propellant and were not maintained by the manufacturer in Ukraine for at least 8 years now. Russia doesn’t have that many Sarmat missiles yet. Their Topol mobile units are the biggest threat, as they use solid fuel and can be launched from a mobile platform, but Russia has less than 100 of those.
So true. I remember a day in Iraq when we came across an M1 that had outrun its Infantry support and was stranded. We were in a convoy and dismounted to help out. "Combined Arms" operations are key to victory. But poor Russian logistics from fuel to parts has done a lot to contribute to the Russian failure.
So true. A nuke isn't like a stick of dynamite. It can't go off accidentally. Its a very complex process. Saying a nuke could go off by accident is like saying you walked into a hospital and accidentally had triple bypass surgery.
And the U.S. help Ukraine to defeat Russia (see photo and text below) A US naval attache, Dale Samuel, gave the middle finger to a Z sign. In my opinion, a quote from Elizabeth Shackelford that was used by the British news agency The Guardian to describe amoral diplomats in general fits the situation perfectly, “...It’s unfortunate, but there are a few weirdos serving as diplomats.” It’s a crying shame that in the midst of a world crisis, this is the kind of people the US is sending to Russia with diplomatic immunity. Of course, you could argue that the rude gesture was a harmless sign of protest. However, the way I see it, individuals such as this man have no other goal but than to continuously add gas to the fire. The tragedy going on in Ukraine is already being moved to the back channels of US television, and meanwhile in both Ukraine and Russia anti-Russian propaganda is still being created. The worst part is that their goal of setting brother against brother with the use of modern social media is working. Source
