    Not very well thought out.
    I doubt that it will tip the sca!es in an Election where Beto is trailing badly.

    Are you kidding? Beta wanted to tear down the wall between Juarez and his home town of El Paso. Not only did his presidential aspirations die when he said that, but a lot of lives were saved by not tearing down the wall/fence.

    On this rare occasion, I tend to agree. It looks like grandstanding at the worst possible time. Beto should have called his own News conference or staged a separate event. There was no logical reason to go there, when he has his own platform available simply by virtue of his national public notoriety.
    This was a natural and logical place for CT Senator Murphy to make the same point. It's a US Senator speaking on the Senate floor about an issue he feels passionate about. Its part of what he gets paid to do by his constituents.

    I'm a licensed therapeutic foster parent that specializes in autistic children.

    What do you do? Tell other people to do things?

    Good. Someone needs to call out Abotts failures to do anything to stop all the school shootings in his State.

    Team Abbott reaction to his question reveled it really hit a nerve, because they jumped up and started SCREAMING. That's a classic defense mechanism to conceal your fear of being held accountable. Of course Abbott and his screaming fat mayor are accountable for things which happen under their watch, especially when the same thing happens over and over and they do nothing about it except say "thoughts and prayers". Even today Abbott main solution was to offer mental counseling for the parents who lost their kids.

    Actually his parents named him that when he was in infant, but who cares about facts.
