Personally I go under 2 every time, I'm pretty sure you're at that time frame if you're using a shot timer. You're right that's a proper cleaning per target! I don't think 1.2 sec is out of the question if you shoot a lot.

Because protocol is to send any local LEO to every school within X radius during events like this. There is not a police officer standing around every elementary school in Texas, it's very expensive.

I’m curious if he is an immigrant and whether his immigration status is in good standing. His appearance and name makes one wonder, though I realize that he might as well have been born in the U.S.
Everyone is being awfully quiet about this. Could it be that the easiest way to prevent this particular massacre of children was by enforcing our current immigration laws? I’m not speculating, but I’m sure I’m not the only one wondering here.

 

I support all political actions that can lead to a decrease in mass shooting.

Except, the reality is that since Abbott became governor, more than 60 of his fellow citizens have been killed by crazed gunmen.

if I might offer a suggestion that will probably leave us both happier in the long run, it would be to focus more on the first highlight and less on the second, at least as far as your resources are concerned. You'll get there sooner and antagonize people less.

I'd probably feel differently if you weren't leaving, but since you're on your way out anyways, there's no need to be a rude houseguest and complain about the decor as you're walking out the door.

The overwhelming majority of mass shooting are in inner city black neighborhoods. A political action that would MASSIVELY decrease mass shooting would be a 3 strikes and your out policy. After 3 felony convictions, a perp would get an automatic mandatory 40 year sentence with no possibility of parole and no chance for the judge to reduce the sentence. This would reduce mass shooting by 70% immediately. WE have had multiple mass shooting in Milwaukee this year and they were all done by gang bangers. They barely even make the local news anymore.... much the less the national news.

If you are sincere about wanting to reduce mass shooting (and murder in general) you would support this passionately.

 

Laws work when they are enforced by a competent administration.

Like in Australia, Canada, France, the UK and everywhere else in the West.

You want to talk about real comparables, go see what these countries have done to fight gun violence.
