    IDGAF if he wants to appear black, trans, Cherokee, or Hispanic. The fact is that his parents named him Rafael Edward. Those are his given names.     Why do so many people assume something even CAN be done to prevent mass shootings?

    I don't believe anything can be done. At least anything people are willing to do.

    It's hardly a serious question! It hyperbolic and not accurate.. If the womans life is in jeopardy I'm sure abortion is not an issue.. What changing now is the mentality of haphazard sex that result in unwanted pregnancy. How else are you going to instill common sense into idiots that go thru life ignoring contraceptive in favor of abortion.. Now they will be forced to consider the safer and more logical alternatives to abortion..

    Sigh!! Australia really is different when it comes to guns - you can own ne here but you have to EARN that right by joining a gun club and getting some training. Now imagine if this were so in America - add in that you have to accept responsibility for that firearm UNDER THE LAW. That means keeping it locked when not in use and that means reporting any theft/transference of ownership.

    Instead of interrupting someone else's press conference, O'rourke should have given his own press conference. The liberal media would have accommodated him I'm sure. But he just had to make an ass of himself for publicity.

    The core of it was mandating responsible ownership. Research I have seen suggest that locking the guns away was more effective than reducing numbers. If for no other reason than it stops impulsiveness. Stops kids getting their hands on the guns too.

    Now think on this question

    America has (rightfully and thankfully’ sold the idea of ‘individual freedom’ throughout the world. America has led us in free speech and democracy but you haven’t sold the idea of the second amendment “right” to very many countries and in fact most people in other countries would not touch it with a barge pole. We do not want your firearm mortality rate
