Well Joe seems to know about as much about gun laws , safety and self defense as he knows about how to run a nation. First is don't go outside and place your self in a vulnerable position, call the police. next just firing a fire arm outside your house up in the air is illegal in most places its illegal to fire a gun within 500 feet of a home and or inside city limits. Next these things that go up have to come down , maybe o top of some ones head or in a eye or ? Next joey when you shoot off both barrels your gun is empty and your outside with empty gun , not the smartest move joey .Next joey double barrel shot guns tend to be for hunting and are long and heavy and expensive not the best choice heavy recoil for small elderly women , slow to reload and limited range .Limited mobility also . If its all you got ok but still not the best choice .a coach double is much better then a hunting double and cheaper most of the time.Recoil is heavy on a coach gun due to the lighter weight.
Double barrel shotguns are actually more often used for skeet shooting. You’re right to claim they’re heavy and expensive but they are very very good for skeet. Particularly the over and under version. The side by side versions are probably more popular for hunting though. But as far as joe and guns. I don’t care what he knows. He’s dangerous to our right to bear arms period
Over under shot guns have been popular with the gentle men hunter for a very long time. Great for bird hunting which is kinda what skeet shooting developed from. Double barreled shot guns have been around for a very long time. Im a gun guy and have been involved in competition shooting for years and a hunter from about age 7 or so.I also started a gun club at a private College.

All else being equal, less killings would be good for the US. This is something every other first world country has managed. Ignoring that would be insane.
