A "bit" too much? In 2021 under Biden and the Dems the Federal government spent $7,196.856B. That's more than any Trump year.

    http://www.bea.gov/national/pdf/nipaguid.pdf
Biden approves of Powell, he just renominated him. Biden's been president for nearly 1.5 years and the Fed rate still rounded to zero until this month, even now it's only 0.75%

    Why not cut spending?
And yet it's the CA governor who we saw in a packed restaurant while we were all forbidden from eating in restaurants, and Pelosi getting her hair done while we were all forbidden from going to a barber shop. And the mayor of NY working out in the health club while we were all forbidden from going to health clubs, and packing together to riot for months at a time. You are quite the finger pointing blame shifter.

You are making a lot of excuses rather than offering solutions. Your excuses simply confirm that the economy really sucks.
Make our day. The high earners are largely woke gentry Democrats, tax the hell out of them. I dare you.

Great news from CBO: High inflation to continue into 2024; Q1 GDP now MINUS 1.5%

"Democrat incumbents have hoped that Joe Biden or the Federal Reserve would get inflation under control before the midterms. It might not come down to target levels until the presidential primaries, according to a CBO projection released yesterday. Continuing supply-chain crisis will impact demand, but so will gas prices, as the CBO acknowledged."

"One strategy that could change those projections would be to increase domestic oil and natural gas production and then to expand refining capacity. The CBO noted in its briefing that oil and food prices were behind much of the inflationary wave"

Biden/Dems vicious attack on US energy instantly destroyed the plentiful fuel and low prices we were enjoying under Trump. The fuel inflation immediate drove through the entire economy as distribution inputs were raised throughout.

The lines below and you can see exactly where and when Biden and the Dems lit the hellfires of inflation with their reckless spending and their vicious attacks on the industries that supply the goods and services that are now being priced out of sight because they are in short supply, high demand, in a monetary inflationary environment.

"That means a lot of economic pain for the rest of us, either from inflation, stagflation, or an extended recession. It’s the worst of the 1970s and the Obama administration combined."

And Q1 GDP was just downgraded too, to MINUS 1.5%.

    Right—a bit too much.
I said he handed out too much money. Government should have started spending on infrastructure when the Orange Oaf was President.
The Orange Oaf was playing golf when he should have been tending to covid.
The difference between us is I'll criticize both sides while you always make excuses for one side. ALWAYS.
I told you we should have a surtax on wealthier folks to suppress demand so we have less need to raise interest rates. We should cut the handouts and focus on infrastructure... I said two years ago we should front load spending on infrastructure and then back off and cut taxes for average folks.

I've told you several times what we should do and you're so busy pushing rightwing political BS you didn't pay attention.
Most billionaires lean right, not left.

You can have secure online voting. Why does he have to leave his home?

    Fair play? Not you.

You're not serious about making it easy for people to vote at the same time we accurately verify identity. Shame in you.

Disingenuous. You've had 40+ years to fix this problem...

... and have said nothing or done nothing lately that suggests you intend to address it.

    An absolutely absurd claim.
We can have secure online voting and secure voting by mail. Voting should be encouraged.

Once again, you're holding forth on what you know not. Who said we have national elections?
Disingenuous. Why are you satisfied with voting system that makes it difficult for some people to vote?
Also disingenuous. You spoke of Jim Crow rules as though Biden is proposing them. In fact, you and your ilk are pushing vote suppression schemes.

    Shame in you for that.

NO we cannot have secure online voting and voting/election experts advise governments to NEVER put their voting online.

    upload_2022-5-27_9-28-38.png

How did we manage to vote all these centuries without online voting and mass mail voting and endless days of voting?

How was it fair that I was suppressed when they move my polling place?

    Sure. You're the virtuous one.
Raise their taxes, I could care less. It won't solve things, the solution is increased supply capacity and more effective distribution. Biden and the Dem Degrowthers want scarcity for us (though opulent plenty for them) but, they would also like to "message" their way out of the political consequences of their deliberately destructive policies.

In a democracy we would have national elections by the people we don't. We are a federal republic.

Nothing difficult about voting. But how about we have 365 days of voting 24 hours a day and each day a government official must come to your house and ask if you are ready to cast your ballot. If you don't support that then why do you want to make voting more difficult?

Biden spoke of Jim Crow laws and he was proven totally wrong wasn't he. What voting suppression scheme am I proposing, I just proposed 365 days a year with a government official coming to your house everyday to see if you were ready to vote if you don't support that why are you trying to suppress the vote?

I saw a sign in someone’s lawn yesterday

it said “I’ll take mean tweets if it means gas back at 1.94 a gallon any day!”

    so true!

The reason by the way is that the top 10% aren't competing with workers in foreign lands for their income but the rest are. The solution? Raise import duties.

These are long-term issues that should have been addressed long ago.

No need to the Constitution guaranties we, the United States, are a federal republic and not a democracy. You should read it.

Are you saying those of us who use computers don't have to deal with hacking and breeches anymore? I showed you what the voting/election experts say and that is to keep the voting systems off the internet NEVER connect them to the internet.

Yeah, I somehow managed to teach U.S. history for three decades without reading the Constitution. You appear to have escaped high school without knowing much about it.
