No I didn’t say they were the same. I said they were considered the same by most of the populous.

A boy wearing makeup is now, always has been and always will be grouped into the same category as transgenders. Now could he just be a crossdresser in training? Of course. Hell he could even be a goth kid (do they still have those?). Sure.

But given his proclivity to cutting himself and violent tendencies I would say it’s far more likely he was gender confused and got bullied for it. Probably because some shithead told him he could change genders and be gender fluid in second grade.
