Using the semantics of lexicons is not scientific. For one, their meanings change over time, hence why Latin is used in biology because it is a deal language.

But as for life begins at conception, no reason to not call it a chemical reaction. Certainly Atheists think so.

Nothing, he provided two members to the panel. Pelosi rejected them and named two of her own. Only one party selected panel members. It goes against the rules.

Political opposition is not a conflict of interest. He had his chance and then it was taken away from him by political opposition.

I'm not a big fan of McCarthy so far, but this is good news.

I’m not sure how MAGA friendly he really is but the irony of a GOP speaker of the House from California would be rich

That isn't the point. The point is that no republican was allowed to name members to the panel. That is against the rules of the House. Hello.

The witch denied the minority leader his choice of members for the committee and appointed two members she wanted.

They did name five members to the committee. The witch Pelosi denied McCarthy his right to name the members he selected. He decided to send no members and make the committee illegitimate rather than let that bitch dictate his minority members of the committee to him. He was right to do what he did and is right to openly defy the committee to their faces and laugh at and mock their subpoena

It was not her place to dictate terms to him. He was allowed 5 members of his caucus of his choice. He made his choice. Because she went on a power trip, we openly defy and mock her committee and deny its legitimacy. All of its findings are meaningless partisan drivel as far as we are concerned. He should defy them and dare them to take him and other GOP members to court in order to try to compel their attendance and risk the court declaring their existence to be unconstitutional

A chance? The rules don't give chances. They direct behavior. Republicans were not able to name their members to the panel. That is against the rules. It is what it is.

The committee will be disbanded and the two Republican members of said committee will not be re-elected in November. So, what's the point? Just delay. Or maybe the committee will get new legitimate members and we can start asking real questions and get to the bottom of Jan 6th.

What business does this committee have to ask and demand his personal communications and papers?

The pro-abortion side runs into moral and ethical problems when the correct language is used.

The court won't touch this. Too political and rules are not laws.

They may have to if the committee goes for contempt of congress charges against those members of congress and the justice department refers said charges for prosecution. I’m saying that House Republicans from McCarthy on should defy the committee and openly dare them to do that and then play out the clock on it all until January when they can withdraw said contempt charges.

Won't work. The courts consistently uphold Congress's subpoena power and they can address that strictly and ignore anything else as not being with in their jurisdiction. I think the only way that the court might address this committee is determining whether they are just trying to get people prosecuted rather than staying with in their legislative domain. I'd see that as more likely, but still far fetched considering how easy it is to just claim "legislative purpose". And while McCarthy can certainly try and run out the clock that is a gamble that may not pay off. While both sides love to claim how their side is going to win the next election they really won't know until election day.
