The case rate curves for Alameda and Contra Costa counties are near-identical. Because the neighboring counties are similar in so many respects, if masking policy had an impact on pandemic outcomes, one would expect to see some sort of discrepancy in the graph.

As to the title of the thread: Should a virus like SARS eventually start an outbreak in the US, with a 14% case fatality rate, I bet you that every single anti-masker will be wearing a mask too.

 

I went to visit my mother-in-law who was in the hospital several times last month. They had signs saying no mask no entry. They had signs saying 6 feet apart. But when we got to her room we didn’t have to do any if that.

This hospital has huge elevators and there are signs saying only 4 people are allowed in at a time. One day we were taking the elevator down and a bunch of nurses and technicians got in and took their masks off. I asked them if it was all over and they said yes. I asked why the signs about masks and social distancing and they said ask the governor, it’s her mandate .

These healthcare workers weren’t worried about the virus.

the study is from left-wing California. The results are in. You can continue to believe what you want as that is your prerogative.

Might the results be what they are because we have many folks now with natural immunity as well as having been jabbed; perhaps.
