    The man was literally quoted making the comments he did about Hitler for Gods sake! As for what 'smear' his comments are a a matter of record. And yes I did know that by birth (being descended matrilinealy from Jews) he is technically Jewish in a religious/legalistic sense. Unfortunately for your argument he's;

    1) never proclaimed himself as Jewish (fact); and
    2) was not raised in the Jewish faith (also fact).

    And so on to your next fact free, puerile argument (your forte might I add).

    RIGA, Latvia — A group of wives of Russian soldiers fighting in Ukraine since the invasion began on Feb. 24 recorded an extraordinary video appeal to local authorities to bring their men home alive. One of them called the war “unjust” in comments on social media and said authorities must take the blame for any more men killed.

    The video showed 16 adults, almost all women, and a child from Buryatia, an impoverished Russian republic in eastern Siberia where many young men join the military as contract soldiers because of a lack of employment. The region has suffered some of the highest casualty rates in the war.

    The women’s appeal is a sign of desperation in a society where even the mildest criticism of Russia’s war against Ukraine is criminalized as the Kremlin cracks down hard on dissent, determined to keep a tight lid on public unease about the war. . . .

    Russia Abandons Snake Island. Russia abandoned the strategic Black Sea outcrop of Snake Island on Thursday, a major victory for Ukraine. Russia’s defense ministry said the withdrawal was a “gesture of goodwill” to show Moscow will not obstruct proposed humanitarian corridors to export grain from Ukrainian ports, namely Odessa. Ukraine says its military drove out Russian forces after a massive artillery assault. Russia had defended the island since capturing it on the first day of its invasion.     NATO summit outcomes include rapid response cyber force – A NATO summit declaration Wednesday announced plans for a rapid response cyber force along with military-civil partnerships to respond to cyber threats. The NATO participants also committed to expanded support for Ukraine’s cyber defenses. Observers said the pledge to strengthen civil-military cooperation alongside a rapid response force were key components since they proved to be critical to Ukraine’s successful defense against cyberattacks. The change in tone of the NATO declaration concerning cyberwarfare was important, according to a former top State Department cyber official.     jack, honestly, what are you going to do when Russia takes half or more of 'the ukraine'? cry? No matter how much money is throw into the shithole of ukraine, the result will still be the same. Weapons are being sold within 24 hours of arriving there on the black market; captured at will by Russian forces. Zelensky is toast no matter what...he knows it...and he's stealing what he can before he runs. He may run from a Coup or may run just to run, but he's as good as gone. Maybe Ms. Nuland could install you as his replacement?
