They said he failed at Covid response, but deaths under him were lower than under Biden even without advocating for masks and jabs.

They said that the trade war would hurt America but inflation was under control even with several trade wars. As soon as Biden was elected, it went to shits.

They said he was racist, but he got more black and Latino votes than Democrats.

They said he was dangerous for peace, but he never started a new war.

They said he was bad for green energy, but the environment has never been cleaner under him.

The bicoastal secular progressive urban elites and their limousine liberal suburban friends got everything wrong about Trump. The reality is that he’s a great American President!

Being impeached twice, losing re-election, leaving office with abysmal poll numbers and an economy in shambles wouldn't be something I would call "successful", but I guess the bar is lower for some people than for others.

lolol trump spent a lifetime collecting participation trophies. if you want to give him a "world's greatest president" t shirt for his birthday i'm sure he will treasure it almost as much as he would treasure cash. .

    Those you're right about.

    These, not so much.

    In a nutshell:

Trump did not have to deal with the variants during his term. If he'd have won instead of Biden, his COVID stats would be pretty much the same as Biden's. These were different times in the evolution of the virus.
The inflation was under control...before COVID. You can't blame Biden, or Trump, for COVID and it's effects.
Trump did not do much if anything to help the environment. His focus was on loosening regulations.

One of the reasons that Trump was so successful is because the Republican party was also successful. They were the ones who got the judges confirmed, got the tax cuts passed, saved him from two impeachments. You can definitely credit him with lighting a fire under their asses, but they did most of the work.

Covid deaths were similar under both presidents each had a large spike followed by some success. Death rates now are very low.

"ultimate results of the phase one trade deal between China and the United States — and the trade war that preceded it — have significantly hurt the American economy without solving the underlying economic concerns that the trade war was meant to resolve." https://www.brookings.edu/blog/orde...gain-how-the-us-china-trade-war-hurt-america/

Biden got 87% of the black votes and 61% of the hispanic vote

Correct he did not start any new war.

actually pollutants in the air went up during the Trump administration until covid struck

Trump was successful because his agenda put America first. Every president should have the same agenda. Now if we could only agree on what policy is actually in our interests. ;)

Trump was successful because wages rose, prices were stable and shelves were fully stocked.

    "...as recession risks soar"...

The transition from runaway inflation to destructive deflation will be as fast as the crack of a bullwhip as Biden and the Dems lurch from one catastrophe to the next.

Maybe it is oversimplifying, but I would say he strove for, focused on, and mostly succeeded in keeping his campaign promises -- something they seldom do. And his predominant focus and interest in everything he did was the country's good and the benefit of the average American citizen.

2 acquittals, a stolen and shady election never honestly investigated, economy in shambles from a “NOVEL” virus as the country was not shut down by him but the states, multiple waste of tax payer money doing fake investigations…..
Think of what great things Trump could have done for our country if not for folks like you and your ilk.

That is a stupid argument. The pandemic started under trump and has spread like wildfire by the time Biden took over.

It drove inflation that fell on Biden. But the real driver for inflation was supply chain issues, which goes back to foreign suppliers.

    LOL! no he didn't.

Record numbers of Americans cast ballots — nearly 160 million — but African American voters were a critical demographic that helped determine the final outcome of the 2020 presidential election. Cities with large Black populations such as Philadelphia, Detroit and Atlanta bolstered Biden's lead in key battleground states the Democratic Party lost four years ago.

He coddled dictators and adored despots. Who needs to starts a war when you buddy up with the worst scum in the world?

This is just ridiculous. Trump did nothing for the environment.

    Get an education dude!

Yes, but to get over serious, there have been a few liberal/Democrat presidents I could include: probably JFK and Carter, though Carter was ineffective, maybe Truman, and I don't know about Cleveland.

so, the big beautiful wall wall has been built? manufacturing jobs have returned to america? obamacare has been repealed and replaced? and infrastructure week was highly successful?

i understand that the sheer black hole mass of trump's tsunami of bullshot might lead you to believe that he was totally successful, but the truth might fall a little short. like all "promoters" trump seems to have left a little for the second act.

Was that a bit over the top by the poster? Yeah, but those are the reactions generated by the worst President in 100 years. Biden's rating is worse than at any time Obama took office, and it's even lower than Nixon's at Watergate. Not that it's surprising given everything Biden has presided over, while meekly claiming it's not his fault.

2024 will see a new President, and hopefully not one from the Obama-Clinton-Trump trifecetas. We will hopefully get someone as divorced from Washington as possible.

One thing that helped Trump being much more successful than post-cog Biden is that Trump and his Press Secretary both had brains.
