America doesn't make enough guns? I'm pretty sure most guns imported into the US have a dual purpose.

Yes. If you have criminal intent it's easy enough to get a standard size magazine anyway. Reloading is fast and easy. A novice can do it in a couple seconds. The biggest downside is when you go to the range and have to reload your magazine every 10 rounds. Reloading stations are often not your port and it's a huge hassle that takes away from the expensive time at the range. Reloading a 30 round mag is a lot quicker than reloading a 10 round mag three times due to the disruption.
