Why don't we admit the obvious and split the country into two?

I am an independent. I am also quite skeptical and know history quite well. I also have a backbone.

The left wants total power. Much like any other totalitarian group in history. I guess your fear keeps you from acknowledging that fact.

Perhaps you should just stay on the porch and allow those of us with knowledge deal with things.

 

Lol, You’re not skeptical. Every one of your “opinions” is straight out of the conservative playbook with no deviation. You conformed to their views, because you are afraid to have your own. If you had any backbone you would think for yourself, and not just regurgitate the republican/conservative response to everything. I know full well that the left wants total power. I also know full well that the right wants total power. You are apparently too blinded by your propaganda to recognize that both ends of the political spectrum are trying to control everything and keep everyone divided nice and evenly along conservative/liberal lines. Literally every political issue is divided evenly between the two camps. Pretty much impossible unless it is by design. But you are too blinded by your propaganda to recognize that you have been played and manipulated.

 

And that is your mistake. You can attempt to label me but it won't work. I am purely a skeptical independent with balls. Too bad not all of us have them.

And when it comes to the OP, I know there won't be any dividing of anything. The last time a group left the union it did not end well for them. Lefties might as well get used to not getting their way and learn how to lose.

You are no 'independent' and you have no balls. As for the Civil War it should never have been fought in the first place. States chose to unify and any state that no longer wishes to remain a part of this union, has every right to dissolve it through the same process, and seek independence or a new alliance. Its the ultimate 'state's right' and that's what 'liberty' means.

 

So... you don't understand or your don't support the idea of federalism or a republic.

Sure states have rights but the right to own slaves. Perhaps you pine for the good ol' days when blacks were put in their place like many democrats do. Back then it wasn't necessary to pander to them to get their votes.

Well, here is a news flash: Owning other human beings and killing babies are both barbaric.
