The community chest is there for the community who pays into it. Does the community chest pay for your car repairs, your rent or mortgage, etc? How come I have to pay for healthcare and illegals don’t? Face it, no matter how hard the left tries to deny it they put illegals ahead of patriotic tax paying Americans. I’ll be waiting for your justifications.

Let's see... So on low paid illegal immigrant wages they should just barely be able to afford medical care in Mexico.

Yet some believe they pay enough in taxes (which is only a small percent of their total low income) to afford medical care in the US?

Also.... I don't know if you consider $1,320 a month. " More than enough " but that was what we existed on.

Do the citizens of California all get free healthcare too, or only illegals?

I think veterans should also receive world class “free” healthcare as well. Along with all US citizens.

Also good for you for believing women should have bodily autonomy. Many do not

The illegal immigrants are part of the community too. And they're there to do work that American citizens won't do for lower wages. It's the business's bottom line at risk in the face of the need for higher wages for American citizens. As the illegals have their place in the economy they should rightfully be subsidized.

No, that's not enough to live on. That wouldn't buy you an apartment where I live. I don't know where you live, but if you didn't qualify for any government aid I don't see how you would live on that.

I hear American citizens travel south of the border for medical care because it's cheaper. This is the Republican's fault.

so until they sort out veterans the illegals should remain out of the pockets of those who have paid in. They have no right to any of that.

No first world country on the planet gives free **** away to illegals coming to their country as it’s financially unsustainable.

Here is your problem with leftist, they never see the big picture :) I have three nieces working the county hospital here, one works admitting and billing..

The state covers the none payment, and by golly the state subsidizes the cost, so question of the day for our lefties, HOW DOES THE STATE GENERATE MONEY :)

no they are not, they’re a drain both financially and economically and to the criminal court system. They ruin everything they touch, and drag the rest of us down. Just because you mow yards doesn’t make you a “part” of a community.

race bait somewhere else, lying about what those thieves do is unforgivable. Illegals cost us 850 million a year not counting murders, uninsured accidents and gang crime.
You pay the 850 million and pay for their crime and we will talk. But you won’t, you’d rather they prey on innocent Texans who suffer.

**** off with your default 'omg racist' bullshit. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with race. They could be snow ****ing white and we'd feel the same way, illegal is illegal regardless of what skin tone you were born with.

Good god I've had to correct countless lefties trying to make this exact argument. It's 100% IRRELEVANT. One thing has nothing to do with the other.

Yea, it sucks to have to foot the bill for uninsured americans but there is no way around it.

It's indefensible to defend that american tax payers should pay for healthcare for citizens of another country. No matter how hard you try, you can't get past that and anything you say will be ridiculous because you're trying to defend something that can't be defended.

I don’t live in Tejas and would never move to that racist, bigoted , gerrymandered, fascist state until they allow ALL their residents a voice in government, not just the righties.

As for healthcare, 17% of Tejasians are uninsured. That’s over twice the National average. Over 650,000 lost their coverage during the pandemic. Great time to lose healthcare.

Tejas can keep the Rightie health plan: Go on Medicaid or die quickly.

The last time I was in Europe my American family member got a pretty bad infection, they paid something like €19 for treatment. Most nations with a functioning healthcare system do highly subsidize anyone needing medical treatment.

how much do you think non-citizens should be forced to pay when they go to the hospital? Should States be able to set these rates or should… You?

theres a problem with subsidies in medicine, and we wouldn’t be paying for it. I can see having some form of discount when you don’t need to see an actual doctor. That’s still a big difference as you’re there with a passport and aren’t roaching the medical services as the illegals here do. At least when you have a passport you’re expected to leave.
These clowns just show up and expect everything for free.

lol, everyone you don’t like is racist/hitler/fascist.
This just in, there’s no party affiliation required to vote here you should look that up before looking so simple. We lost coverage here when pointless lockdowns shut down small and medium business, thanks to local dem stupidity.

Our rent was $550 a month and that included electric. And would you believe that that's just overqualified to get food stamps?

Now granted we got a pretty sweetheart deal on our rent even for this little town but I live in a small Southwest Florida Town that's pretty rural so the cost of living is fairly low.

And I would make a little side money doing fabrication jobs at the house.... You may or may not have seen me post pictures here over the years of the bicycles and trikes that I made.

And I would scrap metals anytime I was able to get away from the house long enough.

Believe me I don't have any reason to lie about having been poor. The money was almost always gone by the end of the month.

Now I make a whopping $13 an hour and I'm rich by comparison.

That’s a pretty weak apology for a gerrymandered Republican fascist state. As for pointless lockdowns, please continue not to vaccinate and not fund public health. You will deserve everything you get. Just don’t request any FEMA help, ever.
