I find this whole debate to be dishonest if they even give the slightest hint that it is possible to transition. It is scientifically impossible for a man to become a woman or a woman to become a man. So the fact they are discussing this as if it’s even an option makes this whole topic false.

 

Even Erica Anderson is worried about this very same thing. You can be gay and not support the trans community. Gay and trans are not synonymous.

 

No you can’t. What’s the argument against trans people?they’re wearing the wrong clothes. What’s drag? You can’t have gay rights without trans rights.

I’m talking about Erica Anderson who also agrees that transgenderism in the youth is a trendy fashion rather than actually being transgender.

 

Okay. My response is the same either way. We know the answer. It’s not a complicated one. It’s no different than the “oh my gosh the kids are turning gay” panic. Kids just have access to language they didn’t have before. Add in affirming healthcare and you get more kids who are surviving instead of dying.

 

You mean having more access to lies. The language of acceptance of said lie is the only thing that pushes this trash. That is where I disagree with Erica Anderson. However Erica Anderson also argues and is concerned over the “groups” who are transitioning at early ages. He also has expressed concerns in the rise of suicides. This argument has not just been pushed by this podcast

 

There are soo many real world impediments between these surgeries and a teenager. The system is already full of natural safeguards that will cost that young person a lot of time. Its not like getting your hair shaved, or a pierced naval.

 

Try getting a real teaching certificate, then you might be able to pay your own rent and not sleep on someone else's couch.

 

Your emotional thinking is what’s getting you banned. I humbly suggest you calm down, and be rational. Leads to much better conversation and it’s how people actually solve issues.

Out of curiosity, if you can dictate to other people whether they are or not gay, why can't other people dictate whether someone else is or isn't trans? I thought one of the foundations of the trans movement was defining our own identities... right?
