It’s not circular and you know it. You just don’t have a rebuttal for Biden’s obvious attack on supply

One of Biden’s plans had zero oil leases and claimed the public should discuss it. If you think he wants to increase production you are the one fooling yourself with talking points

That's not happening. Joe Biden and his administration are encouraging an increase in supply. have been for months. The oil company executives are the ones who refuse to increase the supply. They like the price where it is.

I guess the average person hasn't heard WHY gas station went the way of the dodo for the more profitable convenience mart and fuel stops..

Holy hell, that change happened 40+ years ago and the current President has no clue of it and why? Even more alarming is he believes his base as uninformed or as stoopid as he is...

MAN, how the Democrats must feel every time he exposes them for what they have done!

    https://www.npr.org/2022/07/02/1109...-drilling-proposal-would-allow-up-to-11-sales

    Quote from article

President Joe Biden's administration on Friday proposed up to 10 oil and gas lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico and one off the Alaska coast over the next five years — going against the Democrat's climate promises but scaling back a Trump-era plan that called for dozens of offshore drilling opportunities including in undeveloped areas.

Interior Secretary Deb Haaland said fewer than 11 lease sales — or even no lease sales at all — could occur, with a final decision not due for months. New drilling off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts would be blocked, after being considered under Trump.

"President Biden and I have made clear our commitment to transition to a clean energy economy. Today, we put forward an opportunity for the American people to ... provide input on the future of offshore oil and gas leasing,″ said Haaland, whose agency oversees drilling on federal lands and waters.

The Interior Department had suspended lease sales in late January because of climate concerns but was forced to resume them by a U.S. district judge in Louisiana.

The Biden administration cited conflicting court rulings about that decision when it canceled the last scheduled lease sales in the Gulf and Alaska during the previous offshore leasing cycle. That prior five-year cycle, a program adopted under former President Barack Obama, expired on Thursday.

    End quote——

multiple areas they have cut back. And even went out of their way to suggest there may be no lease sales at all. They were forced to sale leases by a judge. If you honestly think for one second that this administration wants an increase in supply you’re a fool

Good to see you know what this is about.

The problem isn't just profits. The problem is record profits are being made while Joe the Plumber complains about the massively high prices it needs to cough up. And that is GOP and Dem's alike have a problem with the companies asking massive prices under the guise of "inflation" and "high gas prices", but they are being busted by making record profits by making everybody pay ridiculous amounts.

    He drags them all in.
He already had talks with refineries who are making record profits.

Based on Brandon's deteriorating mental condition, his extensive history of racist rhetoric, and the likelihood that he probably hasn't filled a tank himself in decades - I think it's a safe to say he probably thinks gas stations all still have 'well mannered negro' attendants in uniforms rushing around servicing vehicles. Like I can just imagine that's what he assumes all American gas stations are like. /shrug

More demand = more revenue = more profit. The econ 101 jab is so apt because of how vastly it applies not only to the dolts within the Brandon White House, but to scores of leftists across America. Leftists think there is some massive greedy conspiracy going on, but there just isn't. You people are being played for fools by cabals of anti-fossil fuel trolls who take advantage of your lack of education in basic economics to build lies based on things that, to the rest of us, are just pure comic nonsense.

I don't think there isn't a person around who is not aware of econ 101.
The problem is that you think like that it can not be helped that a company makes a record profit during a price hike.
But it can, by lowering prices and taking a normal amount of profit.

Yeah my next door neighbor runs a gas station and I guess I didn't really a very affluent neighborhood. I wonder why they sold me this house for under 100 Grand if that's the case.

Undeveloped areas couldn't produce oil for up to a decade.

Your assertion is that the Biden plan isn't the oil company wet dream the tRump plan was, and it isn't. That doesn't mean it's not an increase in available oil leases.

Are you making the mistake of assuming the sale price just changed for no reason? Most people who comment on 'record profits' and 'price hikes' are ignorant of why prices in a free market change.

I'm not claiming anything, I'm commenting on something that happened. Brandon's attacked gas stations because in his senile decaying mind they're the reason why gas prices are high. But since its long been common knowledge that gas stations make a couple of pennies per gallon profit, the notion that they're a) responsible for the gas price surge, or transversely b) can be the solution to this problem is just moronic.

The premise becomes even more idiotic when you consider the massive amount of illegal coordination that would have needed to take place in order for literally every single gas station in America (most of which are privately owned) to agree to collectively engaging in price fixing all without leaving any trail of evidence or inspiring any whistleblower to come forward.

No, Brandon is an idiot. Brandon's White House is staffed with idiots. This administration, and its leftist party, has ZERO defense for the fallout of their climate policies and the utter slaughter they're about to take at midterms is creating a panic so strong that the excuses these clowns are throwing out are so bogus that even longstanding allies are coming out to criticize.

And they lost 70 billion in 2020, how much do you expect oil companies to make that invest over 100 billion for year and employ over 220,000 at an average base salary of 98k?

As well as not having a clue about much of anything.

Hooray for the oil companies -- willing to call a spade a spade and stick up for it.

~ I'm glad that you enjoyed the cartoon ...
~ Biden/Harris do not have an IQ between both of them. However their " handlers " do indeed have a plan — cripple the American middle-class and small business.

Don’t you find it odd that ALL of the oil companies raised their prices at the exact same time and that time was after Biden declared war on them?
