    I thought Roe might well be overturned because of rightwingers having climbed into bed with religious types in 1980. Frankly, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner.

    The best way to reduce substance abuse is to make any form of benefits zero tolerance. If you're not clean as a whistle, you get zip.

    I think so.

    My take ... almost any moderate Democrat, including Biden, can beat Trump, and a lot of conservative Republicans can beat Biden, although they might have difficulty against a moderate Democrat. I would have given Republicans a lot better chance before SCOTUS let Republicans enforce draconian abortion laws that do things like force women to give birth to their rapist's baby, or carry a fetus to term doctors know can't survive outside the womb.

    in my opinion there are not any more good democrats to run, I would consider voting for Stein over any Democrat

    I suspect it will be virtually eliminated within some states. And traveling out of state for an abortion will become more common.

    In New Zealand they had a balloon operator taking dope. He killed a lot of people when his balloon hit high power lines.

    Both the drug war, and habitual drug use are bad. It's about time both sides recognized that.

    Unfortunately, many people's minds are so simple they can only think in terms of black and white.

    If people can't appropriate govern themselves, what type of society will it be? It won't be good.
