Not should he, will he. I say no, I think he's just stringing everyone along for the attention.

I think he will have too many legal problems and I think he doesn’t want to face another loss.

I'm not sure if he has the self-reflection required to have that be a blocker.

I would argue that he shouldn't run again solely because of his age. I don't have a particular problem with old people but he is doing his party a disservice by clinging onto what he probably perceives as his "glory day" basically eclipsing anybody and everybody that could be an up-and-comer and formidable opponent to Democrats. He's too self-centered to let someone else's light shine a bit.

He'll run again, and even though I voted for him twice, it's time for Trump to be an "elder statesman" and promote pro-American ideas through new candidates.

He needs to kick back in Florida and enjoy being a multibillionaire again....

Who knows? Sometimes over the years I have pondered how could people like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Shumer, Harry Reed, Maxine Waters and other various scumbags from the oher party keep getting re-elected. I figured out it is because they are all in your face type politicians, which is until recently , something the Republicans hadn't had in a long time. Trump came along and if ever there was an in your face candidate, he was beyond a doubt. the master of insults and retaliation. Not a good trait to have personally but somewhere in our political spirt it is a desirable trait. Candidates with backbone have a better chance than those who appear as panderers.

He would be will into his 80s during his term if he ran and won.

IMO he will not run out of fear of losing again.

I don't think Biden will run either, and nor should he.

But what we've seen, especially during the twenty years, is that Democrats WANT "panderers". They WANT 'something-for-nothing' government welfare handouts... as many as they can get, and as often as they can get them.

It's a 'perpetual-motion' machine... elect Democrats and get 'free stuff'. Keep on electing Democrats, and get more 'free stuff'. How does anyone with any common sense ever break a cycle like that once it gets started...?

I believe that the pressure on President Trump to run in 2024 is huge partly because the vehemence of his opponents is so great that he knows that his children and grandchildren are in significant danger if he doesn't.

No - he will run because he needs to feed his ego. His children/grandchildren are in zero danger
