Okay - this “joke” is from a few years back

Two babies die and go to heaven both see St Peter. St Peter says to the white baby “Go down the hall and get a pair of wings you will be a cherub”. The little white baby starts to dance and clap hands singing
“I’m gonna be a cherub
I’m gonna be a cherub!”

St Peter the turns to the little black baby and says “Go down the hall and get a pair of wings”. The little black baby looks excited and says “I’m gonna be a cherub too?” St Peter clears his throat and replies “No……..a fruit bat”

Think on it. Think on all the religious iconography that depicts “whites only” and the message that has sent over the years. It has only been in the last 20-30 years that there has been real pushback against this implicit bias so excuse me if I cannot get upset by one couple, who are not world leaders, not that influential deciding that their child should play with dolls of a certain colour.

How many years was Barbie a “whites only” doll?

The implicit bias in the medical field is jaw dropping. Every text you pick up will tell you to look for “redness” around a wound as a mark of infection. I work with a surgeon who is not black but that beautiful ebony colour - you know the colour that looks like polished ebony wood at midnight? But - how would I look for “redness” on his skin? Medicine decades ago should have developed infrared scanning because local heat is a far better indicator of inflammation

The radical left, critical race theory espousers HATES colour blindness. And somehow they have the loudest voice. Let THAT sink in.

I agree that neither race should be mocked for their race and it's not socially acceptable for either race to do so.... yet some do it anyway

That does not answer the question: what would happen to someone if they told this joke in their workplace? Which was really
a question for @Bowerbird who has not answered it because the answer is not convenient.

 

I think that is the more disturbing part, that someone felt that was a story worthy of publication
