A California city wanted less drag racing on this popular street....

    Obviously, this failed.

    What do they need to do?
    -Ban drag racing.
    -Put up "no drag racing" signs
    -Ban cars car that will run the quarter mile in 12 seconds or less. No one needs them.
    -Register cars.
    -Require drivers to get licenses.

    That'll take care of it.
    Right?

    Cars are already registered, so your solution is to double register them? Licenses are already required.

    You are mocking an attempted solution that failed due to contractor error not due to the solution provided.

    Las Vegas opens up the speedway to anyone with $10. Midnight Mayhem keeps racing off the streets. Its a lot of fun. I dragged my Yamaha R1 there.

    Maybe create a designated area with designated times for drag racing?

    Trying to stamp stuff out does not always work.
