THE GREENS ARE ENEMIES OF HUMANITY: The Coming War on Agriculture.

“You probably know about what has happened in Sri Lanka, where the government’s attempt to impose organic farming led to food shortages, impoverishment, and a revolt that caused that country’s prime minister to flee. Also the Netherlands, where the government’s attempt to drastically reduce fertilizer use has led to massive protests by farmers that continue to this day."

Their solution is always privation FOR YOU, while they live lives of conspicuous excess.

"Next up is Canada. Global warming religion is international, and the same anti-farming movement is coming soon to the U.S., the world’s number one agricultural economy. The first target will be nitrogen-based fertilizers, which are a principal foundation of the world’s ag productivity. Without fertilizers, the world will go hungry. That leads to target number two: animals, especially cows.”

They are implacable, they cannot be appeased.
They are a cult, they cannot be reasoned with nor bargained with.
They are immensely wealthy, coordinating their efforts through tax free non-profits that must be broken up.
They are sociopaths - they believe that earth currently has far too many humans, a 'problem' they believe that they can solve.
They are cartels and guilds, quietly implementing a vast plan, it's time for America to break up these trusts just as we had to do after the rise of the Robber Barons after the Industrial Revolution. These folks rose with the rise of Tech and they must be broken up.

They want you so desperate that you'll thank them for allowing you a 1400 calorie a day, plant based diet.

"Will the Left’s war on agriculture succeed? I don’t know. The Sri Lankan government pushed it until mobs invaded the prime minister’s residence. The government of the Netherlands isn’t giving an inch, despite massive and prolonged civil disobedience by farmers. Justin Trudeau apparently likes what he sees in those countries. And consider the Left’s war on energy: I never would have imagined that it could get as far as it has."

Sadists are inflamed by appeasement, don't get sucked into trading your freedom for peace, the more you yield, the more they will take, the more they take the more it will become unbearable. At some point the fight will have to be joined and you do now want to have given up what you will need for that test of strength.

"They love to boss the rest of us around and make us miserable."

Join the fight against their attempts to illegitimately arrogate power. The best leader combating them at the moment, to secure our freedom and liberty, is DeSantis.

This pretty well lays it all out. Politrical power is the ultimate aim of global warming.

Famines are a favorite tool of the left: see Russia, China, Cambodia.

    Hungry people become very docile.

"Climate alarmism is widely and uncritically accepted on modern campuses. The general notions about the environment are orthodox to a fault. Critical assessments of the available data or of varying viewpoints are not the strong suit of your average undergraduate. Rather, what reigns supreme on campus is a reflexive parody of institutionalized religious furor: the revealed and unassailable “truth” is that global environmental health teeters dangerously on the brink, and that nothing short of immediate global sacrifice managed by an anointed scientific clerisy can prevent the impending cataclysm."

"This prevailing narrative drives the tenor of a conviction that for example allows professors to exhort their students to attend the climate strikes sponsored by March On and a constellation of left-leaning causes célèbres. When you read editorials on the subject or listen to authorities speak on the matter, the implication is pretty clear: They all endorse the idea that climate activism is the proper, moral, and sophisticated position. Here and there, one can find some token attempts to grapple with the complexities of climate, and there are a few lonely critical minds willing to question this dogma in the university, but given the overall direction of the academy, dissenters will take note."

"Environmentalism remains far from a balanced field. The assignment was this: …select a contemporary environmental problem facing the world, preferably one that you are concerned about personally. Examples might include but are not limited to climate change, offshore drilling, strip mining, factory farming, soil loss, deforestation, and mountaintop removal. Your thesis will articulate and offer a critical argument regarding the ethical stance you endorse in relation to resolving the problem."

"Asking students to formulate an “ethical stance” on resolving such preordained problems is like asking 1940s German students to formulate an ethical stance on resolving the “Jewish Problem” in an ethical manner. Engaging students this way conveniently bypasses the crucial first ethical step: soberly determining if there is such a problem at all and the degree to which it threatens humanity. As Francis Bacon liked to say, “if you accept the premise, you accept the bit.”'

"The quasi-religious template is unmistakable: centralized coercive action, directed by our superiors, demands draconian restrictions on personal liberty—only through this will we find salvation. A restrained and historically informed worldview, which knows a thing or two about “big crises” can only cringe."

LOL! Well that will win over about 5% of the population.

If DeSantis is behind it you know it's BS. Is Alex Jones involved?

The Greens widely support sanctions against Russian fossil fuel, because they support the slapdash shut off of this energy and could care less about the human hardship that follows. Deep Ecology strongly believes that the most moral thing that occur is a sharp reduction in the number of humans on the planet.

    They don't like you.
They think the world would be much better without you.

    A Winter Of Anger

... if you’d ask most citizens of whichever EU country if they are willing to risk being unable to feed and heat their children in order to support Ukraine and Zelensky, they would say NO. Hell no!"

When the people lose control of their government, they are no longer governed, they are ruled. And when they are ruled, the rulers no longer view their consent as imperative and they will rule against their consent if they desire.

And that's when things become very difficult for the foolish people who did not protect their freedoms from those that were empowered to only govern, but were able to arrogate themselves to the position of ruler.

"Food prices look to at least double from here, after they’ve doubled once already, while energy prices are set to triple or worse."

"This is not due to some inevitable market mechanism, it’s because the west decided to halt all Russian imports after the latter’s Special Military Operation in Ukraine. All western leaders found that reason enough to cut all, or nearly all, imports from Russia. Gas, oil, fertilizer, food. Essentials. They could have been sitting around a negotiating table, but chose not to. Which only works as long as things remain sort of affordable. And then, it does not."

"Problem is, they had and have no alternative to the Russian supplies of these goods." Despite being warned.

He warned her plainly and he also warned her gently.

And despite their failure to listen, if Trump were still president it's doubtful that Russia would have invaded, and, Trump would be tirelessly rallying US and North American energy production to save Europe from the looming energy catastrophe this winter. But, instead they have Biden, who has attacked US energy production and plans to dump a 180 MILLION barrels of oil from our strategic energy reserve by 9/30/22! Before winter even hits!

These "leaders" "don’t make their own decisions. Those are made in Brussels and Davos, and then the “leaders” have to carry out the preconceived programs, and they will."

"No elected official on his/her own would risk to destroy their own country’s energy or food safety, with elections coming up every few years. But their WEF/Davos connections have changed that “logic”. The WEF makes sure no western leader gets elected who is not a member of their club. There’s only one path to power these days."

We need to stand firmly against this and protect our Freedom and Liberty against their onslaught. I wish we could do more for Europe this winter, and we will certainly do what we can, but, due to current leadership, they will not get all the good we are capable of.

And that's a bitter lesson that we need to try not to repeat.

    "let them eat cake"

tour theory that "hungry people become docile" has been disproven many times in history.

hungry people first attempt to move like the central americans today or the dust bowl okies or the famine irish (who are not exactly famous for their "docile" nature) or the homo sapiens who followed their prey "out of africa.

    but, eventually, hungry people fight.

Stark reality is very hard for many people, but you described it to a tee. I think if we get to that point -- and we are barreling down that path -- the ruling clerisy will consists primarily of politicos and academia with a smattering of carefully selected scientific minds and one or two corporate titans. As climate science is today the rule will have all the trappings of a religion (a religious state if you will) except it will be sectarian and not ecclesiastical and will look and act very much like the catholic church in medieval times. Remember environmentalism and global warming activism is primarily about political power at least at the upper echelon -- with the worker ants not so much..

Extort might have been a more apt choice of words than exhort. Often the student's grade depends on it.

The war on agriculture will be waged by the West running out of water. The Greens have nothing to do with it. In fact, environmental conservationists have long warned about the water crisis the West is about to hit with. The physical law of conservation of matter (water) has a pesky way to defeat the fairy tale fantasies of the eternal growth crowd.

Democrats want desperate, dependent people that are easy to control. Independent self sufficient and informed is the enemy of the Left. Much harder to control someone who doesn’t need or rely on you.

wierd how American Democrat Politicians are going to double the IRS, simply to attack Republicans, and their media, and politicians.

all with taxpayers money, mind you. aka corruption.

Democrat Politicians contribute to global warming more than anyone in America, and yet people actually believe in their crap.

Mansions, private jets, cutting down forrests in Maine.
their own gas guzzling cars. Rules for Thee and Not Me. Meaning they have a set of their own rules in life.
American Democrat Politicians being friends and buddies with China, and not trying to make a deal with them, to help their Carbon Footprint on the World. China is the worst nation, that produces the most carbon emissions in the World.

Fake News - The West has plenty of water, it just a matter of getting it from the North West to the South West and the Green Cult fights water projects with the fever of a religious crusade.

In the end they will lose, and the water projects with hydroelectric generation will be built, but maybe not by this generation but by more sensible generations sure to follow.

The California Water project was begun in the 1960's and stopped by the Enviro-Cult in the 1970's. As a result it only yields 57% of it's potential, which is still a great deal. Even at its diminished capacity it is "one of the largest public water and power utilities in the world, providing drinking water for more than 23 million people and generating an average of 6,500 GWh of hydroelectricity annually." We can nearly double that by simply completing the task that our grandparents began and our nutball parents stopped. Likely common sense will break out soon and our grandchildren will complete it.

Humans have been moving water from wet areas to dry areas for 8,000 years, soon the hold over Federal and State policy by these nut ball cultists will loosen and sensible human progress will resume. I noticed your poorly considered crack about 'fantasies of the eternal growth crowd" and recognized one of the mindless chants of the degrowthers.

So simply finishing this project started 60 years ago will provide water in abundance for CA's 40 million people.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_State_Water_Project

When more is needed, plenty more is available. The Columbia and the Snake are two of America's Larger rivers. As needed, portions of the Columbia can be routed down to Mount Shasta, and from there the completed CA water project can distribute it to the rest of the State. And of course with full utilization of the hydroelectric generation opportunities this provides.

Portions of the Snake River, as needed, can be brought right down through Nevada to Lake Meade, watering thirsty Las Vegas, and then replenishing the Colorado river as it continues to Southern California. And of course with full utilization of the hydroelectric generation opportunities this provides.

And later if still more water is needed, well, Canada has plenty, and I'm sure we can work out projects to feed additional water to the Columbia and Snake rivers. And of course with full utilization of the hydroelectric generation opportunities this provides.

You want austerity and privation, not solutions, because you are in the grips of the degrowth movement. Soon you'll lose to progress, the reactionaries always do.

It doesn't matter if he is Left or Right, what matters if he respects the rights of others, he doesn't.

We Americans can work with anyone who respects the rights of others. Totalitarians, whether Left or Right, or foreign or domestic, when they don't respect us and our rights, well, life gets hard for them. Show respect, and everyone gets along.

And I can guarantee you, in many cases if those agricultural fields dissappear, they're just going to be replaced by developments, office parks and high density housing.

This is only going to accelerate the disappearance of open fields near city areas, making those cities less pleasant places to live.

When you raise the costs of agriculture, suddenly a farm becomes non-viable in areas where the price of land is already expensive.

Do the Greens want all those open fields and farms to disappear away from near their high priced cities? It's only going to result in more of a disconnect between the people and the land.

You won't stand up to your government. You're a leftist, you'll support what they tell to support, just like you do now.

Eventually they'll start killing off "deplorables" and anyone they (you) deem non-compliant.
