Why these animals keep brutally ganging up on the Asian community I’ll never know. I was kinda hoping Al sharpton would stand up and do a news interview where he asked people to stop these hateful and often fatal attacks, but he’s nowhere to be found.
Did some Chuck E. Cheese character not wave at a kid or some other super important disrespect happen that I missed?

Only RWers would wonder if calling the police on someone who is abiding the law is right or wrong.

It was a misunderstanding, just like it says in the article.

Did anyone consider if this neighborhood has a crime problem so the locals are doing a neighborhood watch thing? Or perhaps it was that famous profile we keep hearing about that had the woman concerned.

Do you guys recall how after 911 how we were all told if we see something then say something? Well, when people saw something it turns out if they said something it was racist.

Well in her defense, he was a renter.... the absolute worst kind of neighbor. One of the things I look for when moving to a new neighborhood is where there are renters on the block. You can always tell if there is renter as the property will look derelict. I have never run into an exception to this rule although there must be one. Rental property goes hand in hand with HUD housing in the charge to destroy middle class communities.

Dude doesn't even own the property and he is already trying to destroy the lives of the middle class home owners in the neighborhood.... nice..... I would already have my for sale out on the lawn if I lived there.

Could you be any more bigoted by accusing of destroying lives by renting out being black.

    Showing your colors of hatred.

House. That's easy to say but when the guy looks like a gang-banger cholo, you never know what you are going to get yourself into. He may run off and then come back tomorrow with 10 cousins and burn the place down.

I will no longer respond to posts that quote only part of my comment. Include the entire post, don't cherry-pick statements. It may not matter in this instance, but that's my rule. Only including a piece of a comment is rude.

I think that you are being silly. If someone posts a lot of stuff and you want to address one item, why not cut out the other unrelated stuff so that everyone knows exactly what you are replying to?

I am here to personally tell you that you do not have to be black for a nosy Karen to come up and get all up in your business.....

I gave you just one of the most recent examples in my life. As some of y'all may remember I like to play with the David sling and practice throwing three ounce stones (well, somewhere between 2 to 4 oz ideally) at 100 miles an hour.

This demands that you find a pretty rural area to practice in.... Because you know you can kill someone with that even if you don't mean to....

So there is a spot where I ride my bicycle it's about a mile coming or going from any house.

And I park it right where there's an Orange Grove and I parked my bike where I'm not trespassing and I can see coming and going up and down the road and practice throwing my rocks at the tree line across the street with no danger to anyone.

Well anyhow this woman drove by and she never even saw me cast a stone. But she feels the need to turn around about a third of a mile down the road and come back and ask me if I was okay.

She did not really give a damn about the status of my existence, you see... .

What she was really doing was simply being nosy about what I was doing there. A public place I had every right to be.

So I made sure I thanked her profusely for her concern and when she had gotten safely out of range I went back to throwing rocks.

A true Karen doesn't give a damn what color your skin is she just wants to be all up in your business.

So never assume a true Karen and doesn't hate you no matter what color you are. And don't forget while you're at it..... A true Karen can also be any color.

IMO, this type of profiling is based on deeply ingrained biases that have been inculcated over hundreds of years. An early example of this from the 19th century are laws called Black Codes, created to criminalize blacks and force them back into plantation labor as punishment after emancipation. This is how sharecropping became the new slavery. These codes or laws were for things like vagrancy (being out and about instead of at work for a white person) or gambling. They were applied disproportionately, actually, I believe they were applied exclusively to black people to criminalize blacks. It gets even deeper than petty crimes. Think about the fact that a slave owner could legally assault, murder or rape without being included in the crime statistics. Even when such behavior was illegal, it still occurred with impunity (think of the number of lynchings of blacks during the Red Summer of 1919). Lopsided enforcement resulted in black people being portrayed as more criminal (they were being tried and convicted and white people by and large weren't even being charged). Such criminal injustice and character assassination have persisted to varying degrees over the centuries, creating the narrative. One of the more recent examples that I can think of is the crack/cocaine sentencing disparity.

oh that’s super silly. Profiling works because you’re gambling on stereotypes being right, and it works. In case you’re nowhere near a calendar 1919 is a long way in the past and we’ve had a black president.

About 55 people shot and 8 were fatal during past weekend in Chicago but leftists are crying foul because of some white woman called police about a suspicious black guy.

Not at all, it's quite accurate. I showed that stereotypes originated long ago by racists and have been developed over centuries. Your description of profiling as gambling on stereotypes is why it's controversial. New York's Stop and Frisk policy faced legal challenges because it was applied disproportionately to minorities and was largely ineffective. It was found to be unconstitutional, only a decade ago, although there might have been other rulings since then. Thanks for another more recent example.

But yet here in modern times they continue to commit crime at a disproportionate rate. Actual real crimes that anyone would be locked up for.

no, you pretended that people alive today were alive during that period and you’re wrong. Betting on stereotypes works, it’s just not being politically sensitive to stupid people.
The fact that it works reminds us that some people do not learn and expect laws to change around their **** behavior.

It was clearly unconstitutional but you can hardly argue that it was largely ineffective.

that’s why you can’t argue with Vegas odds. And Vegas odds say sjw types will never learn a lesson either, they’d rather feel smug about pretending there isn’t a problem because it’s not in their front yard.
