Once again, I'm quite accurate. If there were fewer than 20,000 murders (and there were probably fewer than that) even if roughly half of those were committed by blacks, that's a fraction of a percent - 0.025 percent. There are more than 40 million black people in the country. Do the math.

 

Let's say that if you include all violent crimes that takes the number to 200,000. That would still be a fraction of a percent - 0.5 percent of 40 million who were involved.

 

What’s the percentage of blacks died at the hands of police and those who died have criminal records? That didn’t stop Democrats from demonizing the police but not the thugs.

 

oh, I’m aware of the math. You’re forgetting that as far as crime is concerned, they’re way over their share. Over half of the murders in the US is not getting swept under the table. There’s quite a lot of crime there, and I’m aware that most black folks aren’t happy about or are committing any crime.

There are two reasons ... the desire to be the vanguard of social justice and the desire to win elections. We need criminal justice reform but I agree that the media coverage creates an exaggerated impression of reality with regard to police shootings. The same false impression and paranoia has been created regarding blacks and crime over the years.

Seems like it was a misunderstanding. A person she didn't know was entering what she thought was a neighbor's house. I heard an interview with Barnes and his boyfriend. There are fussing about microaggressions so they seem like sjws. If your neighbor is not an sjw You resolve this by saying hey I'm sorry I called the police on you I've never seen you before and I didn't know what you were doing. And if your neighbor is not an sjw they'll say hey it's okay I'm glad you're looking out for me.

They are still doing it. That’s the problem with over magnifying the situation. Look at the four dead Muslims in New Mexico. Brandon immediately jumps into the fray after hearing the news. The media plastered that story all over the place. But… as soon as police made an arrest and the suspect is another Muslim, no comments from Brandon and the story disappeared from front page. It’s like Democrats and the media are not happy because the suspect isn’t a white dude to link him to Trump.

 

Okay, I don't call the President Brandon but at least you can see that in both cases an exaggerated impression has been created. Not everyone on the thread is acknowledging that, so I have more hope for our discourse .

I agree with you but watching the video and listening to what I could hear of her conversation with the dispatcher, she knew or at least thought she knew who lived there and apparently didn't know they had moved I guess. I mean she was a bit entitled saying she wanted to see their lease, but otherwise I think this was a simple mistake that escalated. I think she said "I was apparently mistaken" or something like that at one point to the dispatcher but then she was being drowned out by his voice since he was one filming.

 

I honestly haven't seen the video yet, but I'll watch. That said, asking a neighbor to see their lease is beyond entitled bullshit.
