    Lot of people consider Jan-6 rioters / insurrectionists as patriots who were unfairly arrested for their crimes. Now there are tons of death threats against FBI agents and other law enforcement, so lot of violent Trump loyalists are out there, and they are ready to kill.

    I'm pretty sure I read "exchanged gunfire" in the reporting. That's an indication that whatever happened wasn't completely peaceful.

    Let me guess. If the suspect is a liberal, he was trying to kill those officers. If he was a Trump supporter, he was only trying to test the response time of FBI for a drill.

    If someone tried to breach the SCOTUS building or republican building, would you say it was attacked?

    But your point that the suspect didn't fire at anyone wasn't true.
