Not really. The DOJ rarely released public information about an ongoing investigation. It isn't really a surprise that they didn't initially do so . . . they never initially do so. Why wasn't Trump and his legal team make such a demand? The DOJ is obviously more interested in this becoming public than Trump and his team are. Why is that? Don't worry. I know you won't be able to answer.
I'm glad to see that you think that your opinions amount to much here. You have an opinion and an internet connection. My opinion is that they are releasing it because they know if they do not people will not like that
If they did it before that republicans would claim it’s don’t to harm trump. So you think what? Garland knwos its an embarrassment and is still asking for it to be released? That makes sense to you? The judge knows he screwed up so he also wants it released? Lol
Could you please stop running away and define who you mean by "trumpist"? Because I'm sure you're not referring to any of your fellow board members in this post.
Perhaps but shows you the DOJ took unreliable info and ran with it like Dems paying for the fake dossier.
The FBI made fools of themselves with the Peter Strok situation. I am sure they are being vindictive here.
It seems Republicans could only win these games when the left wasn’t playing — now that they are… it’s embarrassing. Mitch having a conniption because he got outplayed three times was priceless. I am hoping this is even more so.
"She managed to see the search warrant but was not allowed to see the affidavit that contains more details on why the search was permitted." lol, so turns out his lawyer did see it "but was not allowed to see the affidavit that contains more details on why the search was permitted." like cops take that with them, give me a break
As the Justice Department confirmed Thursday, his representatives received a copy of the search warrant and manifest of items seized. The former president has not released those records on his own.
The LOL, is that your are so hopelessly mistaken, in your interpretation of this as to be celebrating the Justice Department caving, to want Trump wanted. In reality, it was Garland, calling Trump's Bluff. When will we get our first an indication, as to which of our two different views, is correct? Well, in Garland's request to unseal both the search warrant and the inventory of recovered goods, which requires court approval, the AG made this contingent, of course, on their being no objection from Trump. So if your hero does not agree to the release of the documents-- which seems more likely than not-- then, clearly, Garland's petition does not at all represent, caving. EDIT: The reason why this DOJ move is going to show that ex-President Donny, is the real weenie, is because one of the principle things they were searching for, were classified nuclear documents. And this is material that the DOJ has sought to get back from Trump, w/out need of a search. Trump was first contacted about these missing documents, in April. He later turned over 15 boxes of documents. In the recent search, though, another 12 boxes worth, were recovered. Just wondering, when we find that he'd had these vital national security documents, some probably with very highly secret classifications, and Trump claims that he'd "declassified" them, back when he'd been the Prez., yet never left a record of this, are you going to believe him? If so, then I will have to amend my earlier statement, to clarify, as foolishly as Trump had painted himself into a corner, there are still bigger weenies, than Trump.
Cops certainly take the warrant with them and they did not give a copy to Trump's lawyers. Do you really believe that there were no Assistant US Attorneys with the FBI during the raid?
Reports are that they did leave a copy. Perhaps not with that exact person, but they did leave one. I sense a huge amount of panic setting in on team trump.
