No. Because Nader, besides generally being a leftist, had zero personality and absolutely no indication that he had anything that could make a dent in the Deep State.

Trump not only had that vision but he also had the gumption and financial security to not be bribed off course like the entire Congress has since the mid-60s.

That doesn't prohibit Trump from being prosecuted at all. But just for the sake of discussion, you would have no issue with Trump being prosecuted if those other people had been prosecuted for whatever you think they did?

Yes a set could be one document or several as I have noted before, sorry I left out the word "sets". But not 15 boxes of alleged classified material. Have you seen the list? How does attorney-client privilege information become classified?

Why are they refusing to have a document Master review what they took?

Presidents aren't suppose to go after people and the matter had been settled remember?

Now should the same standards that were applied to Hillary over classified documents apply to Trump?

The top and bottom of Trump is, he was despised by the Democrats when he ran for president, they despised him throughout his term or office, and they despise him in trying to run again. So from the start, they tried to discredit him, throughout his presidency they fought him every day and tried impeachment to the point they've made that process meaningless, and now they're trying everything to stop him running again, even raiding his home. They need to find something, they need to stop him.

Basically, Trump achieved more for America than most presidents and his character just highlighted what a sad state of affairs the Democrats have become.

And before the screeching starts from other posters, this is what I've observed from the UK. I've never seen a political side so rabid over a political opponent in my life. I thought the Labourites in the UK had it bad over Thatcher, but the Democrats knock the socks off the Labourites by a country mile.

This raid proves no one is above the law.
And that's equal protection under the law.

    He certainly did accomplish more.
The only president to be impeached 2X.
Only 25% of presidents have lost as an incumbent.
He is the 1st impeached president to lose as an incumbent.

He is the 1st to have stolen classified documents, allegedly.

Yes, he certainly accomplished a lot.

To be fair - Trump was disliked by many people BEFORE he ran for President as well - he ruined a lot of lives in Atlantic City.

As for the raid - once the FBI received the tip that there were still papers marked TOP SECRET in Trump's possession, despite his lawyers
saying that they had returned all the files, then the FBI had no choice but to retrieve those files - it's in their mandate.
So please stop with the whining - Trump could have ended this months ago by RETURNING ALL the files. This is all on Trump.

No, Congress are the administrators of the permanent Deep State. In the 60's Congress functionally made a deal with the devil to create an administrative state of permanent bureaucrats in exchange for never again having to be pinned down for anything they ever did. That's a much better career builder than actually having to take a controversial stand. Just take a look at how long the big dogs, including Biden, have been there. These days Congress never passes anything real significant, they just vote to spend more money and let the Deep State sort out the details.

Witness this latest piece of crap, the Inflation Reduction Act. Does nothing but spend money we don't have (ultimately increasing inflation) allowing the Deep State to try like hell to bribe things like climate change reductions (as if that can happen) in what they call a "carrot" approach. That's because WV v. EPA knocked the ability of the EPA to implement any "sticks" out from under them. The "climate change" fraud is finally dead in this country unless someone can convince Congress to amend the Clean Air Act to include greenhouse gases like CO2 in EPA's regulatory responsibilities. So junk nobody wants and is seriously deficient compared to what we've got will be developed and pushed to an audience that functionally doesn't care.

So no matter who you vote for (I'll always vote for a Trump endorsee just to keep Democrats quiet) it likely won't matter.

And that's just fine with me.

The problem with trump endorsed candidates is they don't live in reality.
They believe in conspiracy theories. I could never vote for those that don't deal in reality.

But good on you not voting for incumbents. I tend to vote against incumbents.
I don't want anyone there more than 2 terms.

The current administration wouldn't know reality if it bit them in the private parts.

It's a simple enough question: would you vote for a candidate who believes that men can give birth?

We are a law abiding population until the sheriff becomes corrupt.
So exactly where is your low? Every precedent set is going to creep into general use.

My favorite example is “asset forfeture” - a dubious scheme to deny drug lords the money needed for a legal defense - that is now routinely used to shake down the poor who don’t use banks and carry cash. “Oh, no. It will never be used local police.” Obviously, that is B.S.
    FYI:

It wouldn’t be so bad if the laws were enforced equally, but they are “for me, but not for thee”. Dual justice has poisoned the legal system.

Your words, not mine. Are you advocating for or just acknowledging a two-tiered system of justice and prosecution?

    Haha, your words, not mine.

I've said in this thread that there isn't enough information yet to make a determination. We have broad descriptions only. Those of you claiming he is innocent are doing so purely out partisanship, because you don't have the information necessary to make that determination either. It is you that seems miffed that Trump might get in trouble for something he legitimately did, because other people you don't like didn't, while you feel they should. So what you actually think is that Trump shouldn't get in trouble, even if he did something wrong. He should get a pass. It's only fair, right?

So... has this thing plays out, it is looking as tho'.. the theory is.. the FBI and DOJ (deepstate) where confiscating documents concerning all of the investigations into Pres Trump that he had declassified so that they could continue to bury evidence of Deep State maleficence in reference to the impeachments and Russiagate. Same people being investigated by Durham initiated this latest raid
