    snip

Witnesses told police a "disagreement between the opposing coaching staff of two youth football teams over calls made by the officiating crew" led to a physical altercation that then escalated, prompting Talib to shoot Hickmon multiple times, the release reads.

Talib allegedly fled the scene, while Hickmon was pronounced dead at the hospital.

I've been to several youth football games and almost each time, walk away disgusted at the behavior of the coaches. Next item is I fully support the 2A but as a coach, as a role model, you don't bring a gun with you to practices or games. God forbid should one of the kids get a hold of it.

But here we have a disagreement over a freaking youth football game and a man lost his life in front of a bunch of kids.

This is where we as a society have landed; pathetic

I can understand carrying a gun for protection, but not while you're coaching a football game. This is ridiculous.

What I can't understand is why some people feel the need to wear sweatshirts in warm weather. It was 95 degrees at game time and this coach was cold? I sometimes see the same things here where I live, guys wearing dark sweatshirts in temps approaching 100 degrees and wonder what the heck is going through their minds. The first thing that goes through my mind when I see them is they're up to no good or something like that.

Our local high school's varsity football coaches treat every game as if it's the final game in a high school football movie that's also being televised on national TV. They are jokes.

if everyone carried a gun, this would happen much more often, some people are just too hot under the collar and should not carry a gun

This is what happens when you allow guns, the weakman can kill the strongman in a second. It's what Americans want, the weak to prosper

So it's the sweatshirt that killed him not the gun?

Yeah, but this dude is a Muslim. You know how they appreciate honor killings. Hickmon mus'a dissed him and Talib show him a thing, or two.

maybe, I have no clue what his religion is

all the Abrahamic religions are Middle Eastern Religions, that includes the Muslim, Christian and Jewish Religions

    remember this

fanatical Christians attack fellow Christians for "looking" Muslim

    Talib?

Wasn't Talib the uncle of Muhammad who raised him after his parents and grandparents died?

You seem to be implying that the sweatshirt is the issue rather than the Get U Now (GUN)

    BS

my guns have never been violent. My guns have never assaulted anyone. It is a societal issue where grown men behave that way in front of children.
It also lands at the feet of the parents. I used to coach youth sports all the way to college age kids. During tournaments I would walk the fields and observe parents and many were out of control.

We as society have failed as we make excuses for bad behavior.

Indeed, so let's make it even more of a failure by giving everyone a gun so we have more deaths, violence and imprisonment.

The weak prosper in that kind of society because all of a sudden, being fit and healthy is no advantage over an aggressive runt of the litter. Facts
