Why would I not view them as capable of planting evidence when they lie, leak, and manufacture evidence without hesitation? If they did get caught planting evidence why doesn't the "given the target" line you used above work just as well for planting evidence as it does for forging evidence?

Bottom line, you have no objection to their acting lawlessly because it's in service of the political goals of the DNC. You think that because these vicious liars are currently working toward your goals that you have them under your control. You don't. They'll turn on you as soon they decide to. No, I do not know that. But, I've known a few FBI, in my 70 years. Years ago, I was a bartender in a bar in LA where a few of them, plus the local Ramparts division Homicide division, hung out, I worked there for almost 2 years and got to see them up close, and overall, they are hard working, dedicated public servants. I was a lefty in the late 70s ( and I later became a repub moderate in the 80s) and don't think I didn't question them on these points. After time, they won me over. Moreover, they tipped better than most folks, that I noticed, too. Once, the boss fired me because I screwed up the balancing of the register's total with the cash count and I did it one too many times, I'm bad at math. They weren't like the modern digital machines where you can easily correct errors punching the keys. The cops & FBI guys demanded the boss to hire me back, and he did. The work of a few rogues and the long since passed years of Hoover do not prove your point. In every sector of life, there are bad apples, and it is the partisan who will toss about the baby with the bathwater, when it's convenient. I believe in objectivity, the right, apparently, doesn't. These guys work hard to protect you and me from bad people, and what to they get for their dedication? Petty partisans barking their bullshit, every day, all day long, and I swear, it's sickening what the right has become. They used to be the bastions of law and order, backing our institutions --- it was Republicans on whose integrity brought us the resignation of Nixon, and look at them now --- now they are a petty bunch, trafficking in innuendo , rumours and lies and they are destroying democracy and American institutions like I've not seen in my entire life. It really started going downhill when Gingrich became speaker during Clinton. It's a sad commentary on the decline of this nation and fanning the bellows of ill winds is Donald Trump while his minions follow him like lemmings over a cliff. Truth and facts be damned, all that matters is power above country. Objectivity will not forward their agenda. And what is their agenda? 1. To take away a woman's right to abortion. #2, Tax cuts for rich people. #3, bloated military spending. #4more laws restricting access to the ballot disproportionately in poor neighborhoods and college areas. That appears to be what 'small government' to which they only pay lip service, means when it's translated to policy.

Anyone with that kind of agenda is not in full possession of their faculties, nor will I trust their ability to evaluate reality and I sure as hell won't take your word it.
